【Abstract】“ChinaJusticeIndex”isaninnovative,quantitativetooldesignedforassessingruleoflaw.TheIndicatorSystemofChinaJusticeIndexencompassesfourareas,tendimensions,fiftythemes(second-levelindicators),ninety-sevenquestionnaireissuesandonehundredandninetyvariables.Byon-siteexaminationsoverjudicialpracticeinvariousprovinces,autonomousregionsandmunicipalitiesalloverthecountry,theChinaJusticeIndexcanshowthesatisfactorydegreeofthepeopletothejudicialwork,toreflectafullpictureofconstructionofjudicialcivilizationindifferentregions(includingstrengethenessandweakness),todescribeprogressesmadeovertimeinthejudicialcivilizationprocess,andtoprovidea“mirror”forstrengtheningthejudicialcivilizationconstruction.TheIndexwillplayanactiveroleinpromotingChina’sruleoflaw,andprovidevital,thoroughandfoundationaldataforscholars,studentsandprofessionalsfromallmajorsinstudyingtheconditionsofjudicialcivilizationalloverthecountry.
