TheBitterSweetPartnershipcounterstheweightclaimwithanumberofstudies,including“Therelationbetweendrinkingpatternandbodymassindexandwaistandhipcircumference”(Tolstrupetal,2005),whichsuggeststhatifyouaredrinkingbeermoderatelyeverydayyouarelesslikelytosufferfromobesityandwillbeslimmerthan“someonewhoseconsumptionpatternistoonlybingeoccasionally”.

IamsorrytosaythatIfoundthebeersunpalatable.Ihopethattheclearbeer,developedbyCoorsasafirstfortheUKmarketandasyetun-named,neverseesthelightofdayforthesakeofallthosestreetcleanersintowncentresonSundaymornings.Flavouredwith“dragonfruitandgreentea”,itlookedlikelemonadeandtastedlikeasicklyalcopop.
