冬至是什么？好吃咩？
小童鞋们可能对于“冬至”的概念都是来自于地理课，估计现在都忘得差不多了吧？来，我给大家科普一下。
大家可能对“solstice”这个词比较陌生。其实它表示“thetimeofeitherthelongestdayintheyear(aboutJune22)ortheshortestdayintheyear(aboutDecember22)”。冬至就被叫做wintersolstice，而夏至则是summersolstice啦！

中华大地幅员辽阔，对于“冬至”，每个地区都有着自己独特的风俗，其中在北方最为流行的便是“冬至”吃饺子！“冬至”虽然不好吃，饺子可是美滴很哈！
北方：饺子dumpings/dm.pl/，Jiaozi
大家比较熟知的“饺子”在英语中的说法是dumpings，但其实这个词本身指带“面皮包着馅料的食物”，所以用来专指“饺子”有些牵强。但是因为中国人经常用这个词去表达，老外们好像也慢慢接受了这一说法。所以当你想说到这个美味的食物时，可以说Chinesedumpling，或者干脆直接用拼音—Jiaozi。
