希尔顿存在已久的StatusMatch活动经历了好几次更新。曾经的挑战任务是按stay计算，注册后90天内完成4次入住升级金卡，完成8次入住升级钻石卡。后来改为按night计算，在一定程度上提升了任务的难度和挑战成本。
当前挑战任务调整为：金卡挑战需完成8晚住宿；钻卡挑战需完成14晚住宿。
只要您从未申请过StatusMatch，白板或银卡会员都可以申请。已有金卡或钻卡会员不能申请。每名会员终身只能申请一次。

很久以前希尔顿开放匹配的时候，只要提交了有效的第三方集团的高级会员资料，基本上人人都可以获得通过，而且并不需要您完成挑战任务，所以那时候是零成本获得希尔顿的金卡、钻石卡。但是现在不一样了，现在可能叫做“StatusChallenge”更合适，因为您必须要在注册任务后，90天内完成挑战任务才能获得升级。
貌似现在在各大酒店集团中，只有希尔顿有长期开放StatusMatch活动，其他酒店集团偶尔才会有一次。希尔顿StatusMatch有一个好处，就是在90天的挑战期间，您都能获得金卡的待遇。如果您由于某些原因需要短期内入住一下希尔顿旗下的酒店，那么只要申请一下挑战就能马上获得金卡的各种待遇。
您必须通过下方的希尔顿官方指定申请地址，填写表格和提交资料，等客服通过后才能获得挑战资格。
根据条款，只有上述列表中的酒店集团才能申请StatusMatch。但是其他酒店集团仍然可以提交申请，只是通过几率可能比较低。
注意：与以往不同的是，现在您只能match到金卡（90天有效期），而不能直接match钻卡。也就是说申请通过后，在挑战期间您只能享有金卡待遇，钻卡待遇需在完成挑战后才能享有。
填写表单时，您需要提交两份资料，而且必须以.jpg或.png文件格式上传。
一份是第三方酒店集团会员等级证明：
一份是您在第三方酒店集团过去12个月内的入住记录：
这两份资料，您都只需要提供.jpg或.png格式的屏幕截图即可，不会截图的用手机拍照也行。如果担心隐私泄露，您可以把除了自己的姓名和会员号之外的所有信息抹掉。实际上希尔顿不可能获得第三方酒店集团的会员数据库，所以也就无法比对资料的真实性，这就给了不少人造假的空间。
提交申请后，通常约7-12个工作日就能得到客服的邮件回复。邮件上会注明您已经获得90天的金卡资格，在有效期之前完成挑战任务即可获得正式升级。
申请通过后您就可以马上做任务了。前面也已经说了，现在的任务比以前的难度提升了不少，但是这只是针对一些为挑战而挑战的人来说。对于某些刚需来说就不一定了，例如出差党，一次出差可能就住个10天8天的，以night来计算任务就更容易和更方便，还不用为了切stay而烦恼。
虽然说挑战成本比以前提升了，但是相比正常的升级条件还是非常划算的。正常保级/升级条件：
有一点要注意的是，曾经希尔顿StatusMatch积分房也算有效入住，但是现在已经不算了。
此外，2019年年初希尔顿宣布，中国的欢朋酒店（Hampton）正式加入荣誉客会计划。希尔顿在中国有大量的欢朋酒店，价格都比较便宜，做任务时大家可以考虑入住此品牌，降低挑战成本。
完成挑战任务后，通常约1个星期就能获得正式升级。
希尔顿的金卡待遇已经非常不错，主要包括免费早餐，额外80%积分奖励，免费升级房型等。
钻石卡和金卡的待遇相差并不太多，主要区别是金卡最高只能升级至行政房，而钻卡最高可升级至套房。钻卡无论入住任何房型都可以使用行政酒廊，而金卡只有升级到行政房时才能使用。在入住某些酒店时，金卡需要在早餐和积分奖励之间二选一，钻卡能同时拥有。
如非必要，金卡已经足够日常使用，还能减少日后保级的成本支出。
现在StatusMatch以night计算，难度有所提升，估计希尔顿精英会员的数量会有一定下降。但是从另一个角度来看未必不是一件好事，这意味着希尔顿精英会员的含金量有所提升。
想想在水钻横行的年代，行政酒廊人满为患，服务质量必然下降。对于那些真正住出来的希尔顿真爱粉来说，也相对不公平，甚至有脱粉的风险。
最后还有一个问题，有些人可能无法打开申请页面，或者填写好表格后却无法提交，可能会看到提示：Youmustpasstherecaptcha。这是因为希尔顿为了防止有人使用机器恶意提交，需要您“进行人机身份验证”。
