GuidelinesforAuthors
FrontiersofLawinChina(FLC)isascholarlyjournal(quarterly),launchedin2006,presentlyco-publishedbyHigherEducationPressandThomsonReuters.Theeditorialwelcomesarticlesfromscholars,researchers,legalpractitioners,andpostgraduatesinthefieldoflawwhoareinterestedinChineselawandcomparativelawbetweenChinaandothercountries,andtherelatedlegalissuesthatexplorethesignificanceofthecontemporaryreformofChineselawandChineselegalsystem.
Startingfrom2010,FLChasgonethroughathoroughadjustment.Ratherthanselectingthepublishedtoparticlesfortranslation,wearenowaskingfororiginalpapersingoodqualitywritteninEnglish.Allthemanuscriptswillgothroughpeerreviewsbeforebeingacceptedforpublication.
Manuscriptisacceptedforreviewinsatisfyingthefollowingconditions:
(1)Manuscript(lastversion)mustbenolessthan10,000words;andwithatitlepageonaseparatedocument,incl.(i)titleofthepaper;(ii)fullname(s)oftheauthor(s);(iii)his/her/theirposition(s)andaffiliation(s);(iv)address(es)oftheinstitution(s)inwhichtheworkwascarriedout,togetherwiththepostalcode(s)andemailaddress(es)oftheauthor(s);and(v)anabstractof200–250words.
(2)FiguresaretobenumberedconsecutivelyintheformofFig.1,Fig.2,etc.Preferably,figuresshouldbeincleargraphicsthatcanbereproducible.Legendswithunreadablefontortoothinlinesmustbeavoided.Moreover,figuresshouldbecoherentwiththetext,andbecaptionedinformatively,inordertobeunderstoodwithoutreferringtothetext.
(3)Tablesaretobenumberedseparately,andtobenumberedintheformofTable1,Table2,etc.Eachtableshouldhaveasimpletitle.Tablesshouldcontainonlyhorizontalseparators,namely,adoublehorizontalbarontopandasingleoneatbottom.Verticalseparatorsmustbeavoided.
