Thatmorning,YannshowedmearoundLakeGenevaanddroppedmeoffatavineyard.HesuggestedIhikeupthemountainandthenhitchhiketoMontreux.Afterthat,Iwasoffonmyadventure.Iwasalittlebitdisorientedandthoughtitwouldbetoocoldformetogohiking,soIimmediatelyfoundatrainstationnearbyandhoppedonatrainatrandomtoseewheredestinywouldtakeme.
Asluckwouldhaveit,thetrainItookendedupinMontreux.AlongthewayIwassoexcitedandmesmerizedbythescenicviewthroughthetrainwindow!Iwalkedaroundthesmalltownandtimeseemedtogobysoslowly.ThenIaskedaclerkaboutthescenictrainwhichwasincludedinmypassandwentonanotherridethroughthemountainstoZweismmen.IwasamazedbythepicturesquelittlehousesIpassedinthevalleys,andtheruggedmountainsthattoweredoverhead.AfterIvisitedthevillage,IcamedownthemountainontheGoldenPass(oneofthemostfamoustrainsinSwitzerland),anditwasthemostluxuriousexperienceI’veeverhad.ThegreenupholsteredseatIwassittinginwassocomfortableandbeautiful,itmademefeellikeaqueen.WhenIlookedoutthewindowIwasreallyamazedandwonderedwhatlifewouldbelikelivinginthismajesticlandscape.
Intheevening,IofferedtocookdumplingsforYann.HewascuriousabouteverystepItookwhenpreparingthem.HehadcoincidentallyboughtmedessertanddrinksfromaChineseshopnearby,soweendedupmakingaveryChinesedinnertogether.Wetalkedaboutmyadventuresandhadareallylovelytimechattingdeepintothenight.
