今天，我们去万江了解端午节的由来和习俗，内容丰富多彩，比如：包粽子、做风筝。其中我最喜欢的活动是包粽子了。
包粽子是端午节的习俗，也是我国传统之一，是纪念伟大的诗人——屈原的。
我们开始包粽子，先把两片叶子交叉，再把一些糯米装里面一定要紧紧的抓好，不要漏出来。否则这个粽子就失败了，然后，把其它材料放在米饭上面，再用米饭盖住材料，这样一半工程就完成了。
接下来是最难的一部分，一不小心就会导致材料掉出来，先把叶子折在上面，再把右边的叶子按照上面步骤折一折。然后把一头的绳子咬住，另一头在粽子上面卷起来，大约三圈，再把咬住的那一头，又卷在粽子上，最后打一个结，一个漂亮的粽子就大功告成了。

再过几天就是端午节了，碰巧今天的户外课也有几个活动与端午节有关，其中令我印象最深刻的一个活动是：包粽子。

端午节当天，我和老爸、老妈、大姑婆、二姑婆、大姑爷一起回老家过节，过端午节要干什么呢？当然要吃大名鼎鼎的粽子。哇！这粽子一口咬下去让我知道了什么叫“此味只有天上有，人间难得品几回呀！”但是粽子有一个不好的地方——太粘人了，一旦它掉在了你身上，那么你就会明白什么叫“小鸟依人”。粽子有一些奇怪的吃法，比如粽子加点鱼香肉丝的油那就成了“米香粽丝”了。加点辣椒和几个小豌在上面就是“端午粽糕"了。
为什么要过端午节呢？因为我们要纪念屈原。屈原在汨罗江自杀，当地的渔夫看到了这一幕，便划着小船在汨罗江江面上投下米团，为的就是不让鱼来破坏屈原的尸体。而屈原为何自杀呢？因为自己想的'办法未被采纳。
端午节在古代是荡秋千，划龙舟，吃粽子。在现代是一家人围在桌边一起吃饭，多幸福的一个场面呀！

端午节其中的传说之一是为了纪念历史上伟大的民族诗人屈原。屈原，名平，是战国时代的楚国人，生于楚威王五年夏历正月初七，卒于楚襄王九年。屈原死后，荆楚之人，在五月五日煮糯米饭或蒸粽糕投入江中，以祭祀屈原，为恐鱼吃掉，故用竹筒装糯米饭掷下，以后渐用粽叶包米代替竹筒。这就是端午节吃粽子的'由来。
在江南鱼米之乡的绍兴地区的习俗，最让人心动的当然是赛龙舟啦！船头装饰着漂亮威武的龙头，敲着锣，打着鼓，十二人一队，四、五只龙舟便飞快地游动起来，水花四溅，洪亮的锣鼓声齐声吼着为队员加油；观众也是成千上万，叫的声音大概整个绍兴都听得见呢！

我最喜欢的节日端午节就要来了，我决定我要学包粽子。
清晨，我很早就起床，跟妈妈一起去购买的粽子的材料。回家后我和妈妈一起把粽叶洗了洗，芍起一盘糯米，把枣子放在锅里蒸，蒸熟了妈妈把枣拿了出来，裹上糖浆，然后我们就开始包粽子。
我先把粽叶放在手心里，弯成三角形，把口子对着自己，再放些糯米，然后把蜜枣放在糯米上，再次放上糯米，把蜜枣藏在中间，最后用线把粽子包上。但是我怎么也包叶包不上，气得我直跺脚。最后在妈妈的指点下，我才包好一个粽子，还是个奇形怪状的粽子。
一个小时后我和妈妈终于包完了二十个粽子，我和妈妈端着粽子，来到锅旁揭开锅盖，开始蒸起来。四十分钟后我闻到一阵阵诱人的'香味！
经过我耐心的等待，粽子终于做好了。我吃了自己包的粽子，真是回味无穷，吃着包的粽子心里也美滋滋的。
