特斯拉充电连接器投入使用已10年有余，总充电里程达200亿英里（约320亿公里），是北美最成熟的充电连接器。特斯拉连接器采用一体化超薄封装设计，无任何活动部件，可支持实现交流充电及高达1兆瓦的直流充电功能。尺寸仅为联合充电系统（CCS）连接器的一半，而充电功率则是CCS连接器的两倍。
