Abstract:Thepastthreedecadeshavewitnessedsignificantdevelopmentofmetal-organicframeworks(MOFs)forheterogeneouscatalysis.Atthecrossroadsofdevelopment,thefundamentalsonthedesignofMOF-basedcatalystsalongwiththespecificuniquenessofMOFsforcatalysisaresummarizedinthisComment.Moreover,thebottleneckslimitingthefurtherdevelopmentandopportunitiesmovingthisfieldforwardsarefurtherdiscussed.
