开眼看世界
——赴斯特灵大学交流活动心得

离开斯特灵半个月,到现在我仍在留恋这座城市的气息与生活状态,一个月的交流活动无论是在环境、生活还是学习方面,带给我的收获都太多太多。
刚开始到斯特灵的时候,确实会有很多不适应和不便的地方,比如吃饭问题以及语言问题等等。虽然会觉得很累,但在此过程中培养了我们独立办事,独立解决问题的能力。不仅如此,也让我对生活抱着一种更加平和的心态。在斯特灵的学习生活是非常愉快的,这里虽然不处于繁华大都市,但生活便利,同时也给人心静的感觉。在这里,学校的学生来自世界各地不同国家,大家都友好相待,共同学习。在很多细节当中,我都能深切地感受到因为来自不同国家所带来的文化冲击,每个人对同一件事情都会有不同的看法,正因为此,学习与生活就变得更有趣了。
这里的课堂与国内大课堂授课不同,而是大多以小组的方式进行学习,这就需要大家一起合作,一起完成任务,同时与老师的交流便会更加直接高效。记得最深的一堂课就是棉花糖挑战,我们需要只用意大利面、绳子和胶带来使棉花糖尽可能的高,这需要我们组员之间默契配合,齐心协力,这让我们充分了解团队精神的重要性,同时我意识到在国外,人们非常重视团队,老师会在每堂课都向我们灌输团队的力量。斯特灵大学的老师们幽默风趣,喜欢用肢体语言表达他们的想法,也会在每节课课后回答我们对当地的文化生活的困惑,还会向我们介绍有趣的餐厅和美景,她们都是如此的友善,以至领结业证书的时候我们都非常不舍。

HalfamonthafterleavingStirling,Istillmisstheatmosphereandlivingconditionsofthecity.Onemonth'sexchangeactivitiesbroughtmetoomuchintermsofenvironment,lifeandlearning.
WhenIfirstarrivedatStirling,thereweremanyinconveniences,suchaseatingproblemsandlanguageproblems.Althoughwewillfeelverytired,wehavedevelopedourabilitytohandleaffairsindependentlyandsolveproblemsindependentlyinthisprocess.Notonlythat,butalsoletmehaveamorepeacefulattitudetowardslife.MystudyandlifeinStirlingisverypleasant.Althoughitisnotinaprosperousmetropolis,itisconvenientandquiet.Here,thestudentsoftheschoolcomefromdifferentcountriesallovertheworld.Everyonetreatseachotherfriendlyandstudiestogether.Inmanydetails,Icandeeplyfeelthatbecauseoftheculturalimpactbroughtbydifferentcountries,everyonewillhavedifferentviewsonthesamething,whichmakeslearningandlifemoreinteresting.
Theclassroomhereisdifferentfromthedomesticlarge-scaleclassroomteaching,butmostlyinthewayofgrouplearning,whichrequireseveryonetoworktogethertocompletethetask,andatthesametime,thecommunicationwiththeteacherwillbemoredirectandefficient.Irememberthatthedeepestlessonisthecottoncandychallenge.Weneedtouseonlypasta,ropeandtapetomakethecottoncandyashighaspossible.Thisrequirestacitcooperationandconcertedeffortsbetweenourteammembers,whichmakesusfullyunderstandtheimportanceofteamspirit.Atthesametime,Irealizethatinforeigncountries,peopleattachgreatimportancetotheteam,andtheteacherswillinstilltheteampowerintousineverylesson。TheteachersofUniversityofStirlingarehumorous,liketoexpresstheirideaswithbodylanguage,answerourpuzzlesaboutlocalculturallifeaftereachclass,andintroduceusinterestingrestaurantsandbeautifulsceneries.Theyaresofriendlythatwearereluctanttogiveupwhenwereceivethegraduationcertificate.
Studyingabroadisaveryvaluableexperienceinourlife,whichwillhaveagreatimpactonouroutlookonlifeandtheworld.Throughthisexchangeactivity,wecanlearnforeignlegalsystems,appreciateforeigneducationalconcepts,experienceforeignrichculturesandcustoms,andexpandourvision.MostofourChinesestudents'independentlivingabilityisnotasgoodasthatofforeignstudents.Overseascommunicationcanexerciseourabilitytothinkandsolveproblemsindependently.Andintheprocessofindependentlife,youcanexerciseyourabilitytoarrangetime,financeandinterpersonalcommunication.Thanksforthisexchangeactivity,Icanwalkoutofthecountrytoseetheworldandexperienceforeignculture.
记一次难忘的旅程
——赴斯特灵大学交流行活动心得

再次坐上卡塔尔国际航班,看着航空地图上的斯特灵离我们越来越远,这次为期四周的校际交流就结束了。
从来没有像这次一样觉得一个月是如此短暂,在到达爱丁堡机场将要回国时我甚至还清晰地记得一个月前我们刚到这里时的样子。外面正下着大雨,来接我们的校方老师Grace和斯特灵的学生代表Tom热情地欢迎我们,还贴心地为我们准备了学校的纪念款礼物以及当地的特色小吃。在大巴上品尝着美食,耳边是大家的欢声笑语,打在车窗上向下滑落的雨点,让我这个异乡人反而没有身处异乡的手足无措之感。到达学校后,宽敞的单人宿舍,软和的大床,以及方便的卫浴都帮助我适应了时差转换,养足精神顺利进行接下来的活动。
前几周是教学周,在这期间,我们先开了一场小型聚会与各位教职工人员拉近了距离,之后的课堂上也进行得比较顺利。斯特灵的老师们都十分随和,课堂的氛围也比较轻松,师生会就几个问题进行讨论,大家发表自己的意见,老师和同学之间互相学习,他们甚至会非常自然地承认自己对某一方面知识的不足。在这样的研讨课中,我们都是一群一心求解的学子,一起运用自己的知识试图探索出问题的答案。在课上我们一起探讨了中国以及苏格兰的法律制度,在课后老师还为我们介绍了当地的风土人情,推荐值得一游的景点。在学习专业知识的同时,我也对当地的文化有了一定的了解。有趣的一点是,通过交流,我们也能找到彼此的一些相似之处,比如像所有中国的青少年一样,苏格兰的年轻人们也有一颗追逐潮流冬天只穿短裤的心和追着喊他们穿秋裤的父母。
在生活方面,苏格兰与国内也有许多不同,最大的差异是人口的不同。中国是一个人口大国,并且虽然我们少数民族众多,但大家的文化理念有很大的共通性。而在苏格兰,你能明显感觉到这里人口较少,而人种多样,大家有着不同的文化背景,彼此互相尊重,人与人之间更强调安全距离。走在街头,人们不会因为你的相貌而认出你是异乡人,这帮助我们更快地融入了当地的生活。
在学习之余,我们还去了附近的城市游览。爱丁堡、格拉斯哥都是很美的地方,临近圣诞节,我们走在以前只能在屏幕里看到的街景,感受着当地一年一度的盛大节日在节前的氛围,商店的橱窗里摆着圣诞树和闪闪发光的彩灯,街道各处装点着圣诞节的装饰,到处都洋溢着节日的快乐氛围。跨年夜在斯特灵城堡和本地人一起倒数等待崭新的一年,天空绽放着一束束的烟花,这样的亲身经历也许一生也只有一次。
在这一个月中,我度过了许许多多难忘的时刻。要感谢的人有太多,斯特灵的老师们对我们生活和学习上的帮助,山西大学老师们的照顾。最应该感谢的,是山西大学和斯特灵大学给了我们这次机会,能让我们一群几乎从没有过出国经历的学生,跨越了山川大海,进行一次国际学习交流。通过这次经历,我在开阔眼界看到更广阔的世界的同时,也深刻体会到学习的重要性。我会更加努力地学习,希望以后还有机会能参加这样的活动。在此真诚感谢双方学校的工作人员为我们此次交流做出的努力,祝愿山西大学和斯特灵大学间友谊长存!

Thisfour-weekexchangewasoverasweboardedQatarInternationalflightagainandwatchedtheStirlingontheairlinemapgrowfurtherandfurtherawayfromus.
Ihadneverfeltsoshortamonthbefore,andwhenIarrivedattheEdinburghAirportandwasabouttoreturnhome,Icouldrememberexactlywhatithadbeenlikewhenwefirstarrivedhereamonthearlier.Itwasrainingcatsanddogsoutside,andGrace,ourschoolteacher,andTom,thestudentrepresentativefromtheUniversityofStirling,welcomeduswithopenarms,andtheywerekindenoughtoofferusschoolsouvenirsandlocaldelicacies.Weweresittinginthebus,eatingdeliciousfood,listeningtoeveryone’slaughter,Watchingtherainrolldownonthecarwindow,thatletme,astranger,donotfeelatalossintheforeigncountry.Uponarrival,thespacioussingledormitory,softandbigbed,andconvenientsanitarywareallhelpedmetoadapttothechangeintimedifference,andkeepenoughspirittocarryoutthenextactivitiessmoothly.
Thefirstfewweekswereteachingweek,duringwhichwehadasmallpartytogetclosertothefacultyandafterthattheclasswentwell.TheteachersinStirlingareveryeasygoingandtheatmosphereintheclassroomisquiterelaxed.Theteachersandstudentswilldiscussseveralissuesandexpresstheiropinions.Teachersandstudentslearnfromeachother,theyevenacknowledgetheirlackofknowledgeinacertainareaquitenaturally.Insuchseminars,weseemtobeagroupofdedicatedstudents,togetherwiththeirknowledgetotrytoexploretheanswertothequestion.WetalkedaboutthelegalsysteminChinaandScotland.Afterclass,ourteacherintroducedustothelocalcustomsandrecommendedsomeplacestovisit.Inlearningprofessionalknowledge,Ialsohaveacertainunderstandingofthelocalculture.Theinterestingthingisthatthroughcommunication,wecanalsofindsomesimilaritiesbetweeneachother,likeallChineseteenagers,youngpeopleinScotlandalsohaveatasteforfashion,wearingonlyshortsinwinterandtheyalsohaveparentswhomakethemwearlongjohns.
Intermsoflife,ScotlandandChinaalsohavemanydifferent,thebiggestdifferenceisthedifferenceinthepopulation.Chinaisacountrywithalargepopulation,andalthoughwehavealargenumberofethnicminorities,wehaveagreatdealofculturalideasincommon.InScotland,yougetthedistinctimpressionthatthepopulationissmaller,thatthereisdiversity,thatthereismutualrespect,thatthereisagreateremphasisonthesafedistancebetweenpeople.Walkingthestreets,peoplewillnotrecognizeyoubecauseofyourappearance,whichhelpsustointegrateintothelocallifemorequickly.
Inadditiontostudying,wealsowenttothenearbycitytour.Edinburgh,Glasgowareverybeautifulplaces,nearChristmas,wecanfeeltheatmosphereoftheannualfestivalinthelocalbeforethefestival,theshopwindowsweredecoratedwithChristmastreesandglitteringlights,thestreetsweredecoratedwithChristmasdecorations,andtheatmospherewasfestive.OnNewYear’sEve,wecountdownwiththelocalsatStirlingCastleforabrandnewyear,theskyisburstingwithabunchoffireworks,suchpersonalexperiencemayonlyonceinalifetime.
Ihavehadmanymemorablemomentsinthismonth.Therearesomanypeopletothank,theteachersoftheUniversityofStirlingfortheirhelpinourlifeandstudy,andtheteachersofShanxiUniversityfortheircare.Mostofall,thankstoShanxiUniversityandtheUniversityofStirling,wehavetheopportunityforagroupofstudents,whohavealmostneverbeenabroad,tocrosstheseaandmountainsforaninternationalexchangeofstudy.Throughthisexperience,Icanbroadenmyhorizonstoseethewiderworld,butalsodeeplyappreciatetheimportanceoflearning.Iwillstudyharderandhopetohavetheopportunitytoparticipateinsuchactivitiesinthefuture.Iwouldliketosincerelythankthestaffofbothuniversitiesfortheireffortsinthisexchange,andwishthefriendshipbetweenUniversityofStirlingandShanxiUniversitywilllastforever!
山大法院人启程看世界

4300、2000、987、532、322、199、0feet……2019年12月7日这天,随着飞机的渐渐降落我们抵达爱丁堡国际机场,随即开启在斯特灵大学为期28天的交流访学之旅。从行前准备到如期启程、从满怀期待到留下希望、从文化碰撞到见天地众生……28天对于我们的漫漫人生来说稍纵即逝,而28天走出国门的见闻与成长却那般的生动且深刻,多年后回想起来,定依然历历在目,激情如初。
一、启程前·点燃火焰
求学之路没有尽头,更没有天花板。作为山大法院学子,我们总在不断学习、持续成长。然而不可否认,有的时候见识比知识更为重要,很多人一生翻越不过的山峰,可能只是他人脚下的地平线。
爱尔兰诗人叶芝曾说,教育不是装满篮子,而是点燃火焰。为了拓宽我们的见识,加速我们的成长,打破“天花板”上限,法学院的各位领导为同学们争取了这次宝贵的短期交流机会,让大家可以走出国门,见天地、知世界、懂自我。同时,为了让此次学习能够有与众不同的体验,国际交流学院的领导和老师更是在课程设置方面做到了极致,从斯特灵大学最具代表性的课程、到苏格兰文物保护局的专题讲座、参观Crunchan水电站,再到贯穿全程的法律和人文,丰富又充实。火焰已燃,只待我们启程与绽放!
二、在路上·城市印象
从爱丁堡国际机场出发,驱车前往斯特灵大学的途中,尽收眼底的“苏格兰绿”让人难以不爱上这座城市。来到校园,悠久的城堡、迷人的湖泊、延绵不绝的高地山麓小丘、灵动的天鹅、自由的海鸥、欢脱的松鼠小兔子……让人不禁感叹不愧是“欧洲最美大学之一”,处处可见美景与生机。
三、深体验·课堂实录
在斯特灵,课堂上不仅需要一位滔滔不绝的教授,更离不开学生们的参与和配合。每位授课老师都极为注重与学生的互动、交流和沟通,辅之以小班教学模式,老师可以及时掌握学生对课程的接受情况,随时调整授课节奏,确保课堂的高效性和参与度。通过观察教学楼里的教室和与老师交流,我们发现斯特灵大学的多数教室只能容纳三十人左右,在这里鲜有一二百人的大课模式。
在小班授课的过程中,不仅强调个性的彰显,也重视团队合作。以学术英语课堂为例,Mrs.Ann每节课始都会抛出一个开放性的话题,大家在组内充分表达观点后推选出一位代表将所提炼的小组精华作综合阐述,其他组成员可以提出认可抑或质疑,课堂上鼓励大家发出不同的声音。但可别看课堂“其乐融融”“欢声笑语”,要想经得住N轮头脑风暴,需要提前做充足的准备工作。相应地,斯特灵大学拥有一座先进的图书馆,馆内有全天候的学习设施以及大量的电子资源,可以随时提供学习的空间和灵感。
四、最难忘·群星闪耀
犹记得周子良副院长在行前会上和大家动情地说:“我爱山西大学法学院,我爱你们!”周院长道出了我们的心声,但此时我更想说:“感谢山西大学法学院,感谢你们!”是山大法院人的共同努力促成此次斯特灵之行,是郭书记的声声叮咛让我们始终不忘肩负使命,是朱院长的次次鼓舞让我们拥有唱响序曲的勇气,是庞老师的风趣幽默让我们敢于轻松表达自我,更是刘院长、尹院长、温老师、GraceWang在专业素养中所体现出的聪慧、细腻、大气,让我们女性在成为职业法律人的过程中看到了努力的方向。
Stayhungry,stayfoolish.始终虚怀若谷,始终求知若饥。

Thereisnoendtotheroadofstudy,nottomentiontheceiling.AsastudentofLawSchoolofShanxiUniversity,wearealwayslearningandgrowing.However,itisundeniablethatsometimesexperienceismoreimportantthanknowledge.Themountainthatmanypeoplecan'tclimbintheirlivesmaybejustthehorizonunderthefeetofothers.
Yeats,anIrishpoet,oncesaidthateducationisnotthefillingofpail,buttolightfire.Inordertobroadenourhorizon,accelerateourgrowth,andbreaktheceiling,theleadersoflawschoolhavewonthispreciousshort-termexchangeopportunityforstudents,sothatwecangoabroad,seetheworld,knowtheworldandunderstandourselves.Atthesametime,inordertomakethisstudyhaveauniqueexperience,theleadersandteachersoftheschoolofinternationalexchangehaveachievedtheultimateinthecurriculum,fromthemostrepresentativecoursesofUniversityofStirling,tothespeciallecturesoftheScottishheritageprotectionbureau,tovisittheCrunchanHydropowerStation,tothelawandculturethroughoutthewholeprocess,richandsubstantial.Thefireison,justwaitingforustosetoutandbloom!
StartingfromEdinburghInternationalAirportanddrivingtoUniversityofStirling,youcan'thelpbutlovethecitywithapanoramicviewof"Scottishgreen".Comingtothecampus,therearecharminglakes,endlesshighlandhills,smartswans,freeseagulls,happysquirrels,rabbitsandacastlewithalonghistory.Peoplecannothelpbutsighthatitisindeed"oneofthemostbeautifuluniversitiesinEurope",withbeautifulsceneryandvitalityeverywhere.
DuringtheoutdoorclassvisittotheCrunchanHydropowerStation,wefurtherexperiencedthemagnificentsceneryoftheScottishHighlands,andfurtherunderstoodthelocalecologicalrecyclingsystem,whichcanbedescribedasaminiatureofthewholeScottishecologicalconceptandenvironmentalprotection,thatis,usingmoderntechnologytominimizepollution,soastoprotecttheecosystemtothemaximumextent,andonthisbasisofthis,theproductionefficiencyisimprovedandthemaximumbenefitisrealized.Scotland'snaturalproblemsaregraduallyemergingintheprocessofitscontinuousdevelopment.Correspondingly,theycansolvetheproblemsfoundintime,whichmaybeoneoftheimportantreasonsforthecoexistenceofgoodlocalnaturalenvironmentandhighlevelofeconomicdevelopment.However,thereisnodoubtthatthereisahugepressureforourcountrytofocusonthechallengesexperiencedbywesterncountriesinthepastfewhundredyears.Therefore,wecanrefertoandlearnfromScotland'sexperienceandmethodsinenvironmentalprotection.
InUniversityofStirling,theclassroomneedsnotonlyavolubleProfessor,butalsotheparticipationandcooperationofstudents.Everyteacherpaysgreatattentiontotheinteraction,communicationandcommunicationwithstudents,supplementedbysmallclassteachingmode.Teacherscantimelygraspthestudents'acceptanceofthecourse,adjusttheteachingrhythmatanytime,andensuretheefficiencyandparticipationoftheclass.Byobservingtheclassroomsintheteachingbuildingandcommunicatingwiththeteachers,wefoundthatmostoftheclassroomsinUniversityofStirlingcanonlyholdabout30people,andtherearefewlargeclassmodelsofnearly200peoplehere.
Intheprocessofsmallclassteaching,itnotonlyemphasizesthedisplayofpersonality,butalsoattachesimportancetoteamwork.TakingAcademicEnglishcourseasanexample,Mrs.Annthrowsanopentopicatthebeginningofeachclass.Afterfullyexpressingourviewsinthegroup,weelectarepresentativetomakeacomprehensiveexpositionoftheessenceoftheextractedgroup.Membersofothergroupscangiverecognitionordoubtandencouragedifferentvoicesinclass.Butdon'tseetheclassroomisfullof"fun"and"laughter".Ifyouwanttostandcountlessroundsofbrainstorming,youneedtodosufficientpreparationsinadvance.Accordingly,UniversityofStirlinghasanadvancedlibrarywith24hourslearningfacilitiesandalargenumberofelectronicresources,whichcanprovidelearningspaceandinspirationatanytime.
IstillrememberourVicePresidentZhouZiliangatthepretripmeeting,hesaidtous:"IloveShanxiUniversityLawSchool,andIloveyou!"PresidentZhouexpressedourvoice,butatthistimeIwouldliketosay:"thankyouShanxiUniversityLawSchool,thankyou!"It'sthejointeffortsofthepeopleofLawSchoolofShanxiUniversitytopromotethetripofStirling.It'sthevoiceofSecretaryGuothatremindsustoshoulderourmissionallthetime.It'sPresidentZhu’sencouragementthatmakesushavethecouragetosingtheoverture.It'sMr.Pang'shumorthatmakesusdaretoexpressourselveseasily.It'sthewisdom,delicateandatmosphericreflectedintheprofessionalaccomplishmentofPresidentLiu,PresidentYin,teacherWenandGraceWang,letuswomenintheprocessofbecomingaprofessionallegalpersonseethedirectionofefforts.

从差异中品味中英文化魅力

我很荣幸有机会来到英国斯特灵大学参加了山西大学与斯特灵大学共办的为期一个月的大学生短期学术交流活动,通过这次交流,使我有机会能够走出国门,近距离接触、了解、学习国外法学,机会非常难得,所以我倍感珍惜。整个学习过程中,我在非常努力地顺利完成学业的同时,提高了自身的英语水平,体验了先进的教学理念和学术观点,增长了见识、开拓了视野,取得了较大的收获,使我受益匪浅。
由于进入冬令时,苏格兰地区昼短夜长,平均早上九点半日出而下午四点日落,我们的课时也就相对较少。在学校餐厅我算是第一次尝到了英餐,对于很多刚到英国的中国人来说,英餐的确是难以适应,但我早已做好了心理准备,来到一个陌生地方就应该让自己尽快适应环境,包括饮食。在日常生活中,注意将所学内容积极应用于实践,充分利用这样有利的语言环境,通过与当地人的交流,逐步提高自己的语言能力。对我而言,这的确是很有趣也很难得的经历。
来到英国最直观感受到的是语言文化的差异,其次能感受到的也是最重要的就是中英两国的教学模式有很大差距,主要体现在两个方面:
一、学习方法不同
后来在和老师以及留学生交流的过程中,我才了解到——在英国读书,每个学生都会在开学伊始收到各科老师的课程计划和建议读书目录,很多中国学生并不重视这些材料,认为老师上课都会讲到,然而,事实上,预习在英国十分重要。每节课之前,学生们应该至少将课程计划大概浏览一遍,最好再阅读一些读书目录上的书籍,这样上课的时候才能跟上老师的讲课速度。我们也是因为初来乍到并不熟悉,导致出现这种尴尬的现象。
二、教学方法不同
通过这些差异,我也逐渐感受到了这样互动式教学的魅力和在中国上课时的不足,这也更能对自己的学习方式进行革新,同时给我们带来关于如何进行大学教育的思索。

Inthewinterseason,Scotlandhasshortdaytimeandlongnighttime,withanaverageof9:30inthemorningand4:30intheafternoon,soourclasshoursarerelativelysmall.IhavetastedBritishfoodforthefirsttimeintheschoolrestaurant.FormanyChinesewhohavejustarrivedintheUK,Britishfoodisindeeddifficulttoadaptto,butIhavealreadymadepsychologicalpreparations.Ishouldletmyselfgotoastrangeplaceassoonaspossible.Adapttotheenvironment,includingdiet.Indailylife,payattentiontoactivelyapplyingwhatyouhavelearnedtopractice,makefulluseofsuchafavorablelanguageenvironment,andimproveyourlanguageabilityasmuchaspossiblebycommunicatingwithlocalpeople.Forme,thisisindeedaveryinterestingandrareexperience.
WhenIcametotheUnitedKingdom,Ifeltthedifferenceinlanguageandculture,andthesecondandmostimportantthingisthatthereisabiggapbetweentheChineseandBritishteachingmodels,whichismainlyreflectedintwoaspects:
I.Differentlearningmethods
Generallyspeaking,mostoftheChinesestudents'learningispassive.Theysitintheclassroomhonestlyduringtheclass.Theteacheroutputsknowledgeandthestudentspassivelyacceptit.Fewstudentsactivelyaskquestionstotheteacher.Mostofthemarestudentswhoaskquestions.ManyofuswhoareveryaccustomedtothisteachingmodebringthispassivewayoflisteningtotheUnitedKingdom,andwehaveasituationof"adversity".OnthebusthatjustcametotheUniversityofStirling,theteachersentusateachingscheduletoletusknowaboutthefuturecourses.AtfirstIdidn'tcare.Ithoughtitwasanordinaryschedule.However,duringthefirstprofessionalcourseteaching,Ididn'tprepareenoughbecauseIdidn'tprepareinadvance.Iwastedthetimeofthefirsthalfoftheclassandbecamefamiliarwiththeteacher'sspecialty.
Later,intheprocessofcommunicatingwithteachersandinternationalstudents,IlearnedthatintheUK,eachstudentwillreceivethecourseplansandsuggestedreadinglistsofteachersfromvarioussubjectsatthebeginningoftheschool.ManyChinesestudentsmayfailtopayattentiontothesematerialsandthinkthatteacherswilltalkabouttheminclass.However,infact,previewisveryimportantintheUK.Beforeeachlesson,studentsshouldatleastreviewthelessonplan.Itisbesttoreadsomebooksinthereadingcataloguesothattheycankeepupwiththeteacher'slecturespeedduringthelesson.Wearealsounfamiliarwiththisnewarrival,whichleadstothisembarrassingphenomenon.

Throughthesedifferences,IalsograduallyfeltthecharmofsuchinteractiveteachingandthelackofclasstimeinChina,whichcanalsoinnovatemylearningstyleandbringusthinkingabouthowtocarryoutuniversityeducation.

转眼间已经2020年了,朋友圈里都在发自己的年度总结,回顾我的2019,更多的是幸运和奇幻。因为在2019年岁末,我有幸参加了和斯特灵大学的校际交流活动,虽然只有短短的二十八天,但在我看来却是一段难忘而又奇幻的经历。从未想过可以出国的我居然来到了苏格兰,来到了斯特灵大学,惊喜、兴奋、激动、感恩是这二十八天的主旋律,我很感谢母校,感谢法学院,能够给予我这次机会亲眼看看外面的世界。从前期忙碌的准备到最后平安回国,我经历了许多的第一次,也有许多不一样的感受和体会。
首先,感谢学校领导、学院领导、尹老师、庞老师以及斯大GraceWang老师的支持、指导和关怀,感谢各位学长学姐的帮助和陪伴。从出行前的准备工作到活动期间的点点滴滴,我真真切切地感受到我们是一个团结友爱的大家庭,都在为此次活动的圆满完成尽全力付出,因访学而建立的这份宝贵的情谊我会倍加珍惜。

这趟旅途,让我明白自己是一个有能力的人,让我敢于面对挑战。
我们经历了十几个小时的航空旅途终于到达了爱丁堡机场。从入境验查后的那一刻开始我才真真切切的感觉我真的已经身处异国。坐上学校提供的巴士,望着窗外淅淅沥沥的雨和渐渐后退的空旷风景,我心里有忐忑不安,又心怀期待,不知道等待我的将是怎样一段的旅程。
每个同学都领到了斯特灵大学的“爱心包”,里面有酸奶、甜甜圈、小食,填补了我因为疲惫饥肠辘辘的胃。从城市风光再到田园景色、这里看不到高楼大厦、看不到人山人海、看不到匆忙脚步,只感觉到无阻的风和新鲜的空气。但是英国连绵的阴雨天气名声在外很多年了,我有时候会觉得这个说法有点儿夸大其词,但是真的随身携带雨伞,不要被一时的阳光明媚所蒙骗!
“我们到啦!大家下车吧!”王老师说到。这才又把我拉回现实。于是我入住bc公寓,在这那里度过我的新生活。一人间里有独立的淋浴间和卫生间,有宽敞的书桌,有护眼的台灯,有干净的衣柜,连床边都配有床边灯。再到学校里面的图书馆,游泳馆,健身房...总而言之,硬件设施十分齐全。
交流学习带给我的收益远远比预期的要多,开阔眼界,无论是人文还是自然,我都收获颇丰,不同文化的交流碰撞,与收银员沟通有时都会成为大问题,自我抗压能力的提升,在这里的生活虽然并没有国内的紧凑,但是从三四点就开始逐渐暗淡的天空带来的漫漫长夜还是让人难以保持持久的快乐,专业知识的深层次的体悟,英美法系的深入了解与大陆法系的对比。
这一趟,感谢所有人的付出与努力。一切只能概括为,不虚此行。

首先感谢学校给我们提供了如此难得的机会赴英国斯特灵大学交流学习。我非常庆幸自己能拥有如此不同于别人的如此美妙的学习和生活经历,哪怕只是转瞬即逝的短短一个月。
再去英国之前,我认为出国留学与我基本没有什么联系,不管从专业能力,语言水平还是经济能力,我都不能选择出国留学。但是经过这一个月,我的心态有了很大的变化,由消极闭塞的心态转向了积极开放的心态,其实全英文的专业课也没有想像的那么难,英语也没有那么难学。其次,自己的能力也有了很大的提升,包括专业能力和生存能力,到一个完全不同的文化环境里生活,不仅有语言的障碍,更大的挑战是文化的冲击,还有更实际的饮食习惯的挑战,所以我们到国外留学都“逼出”了不错的厨艺。克服语言障碍,试着理解文化,以及让自己的胃更舒服一点。这些是基本的生存能力。有了第一次,第二次换个国家,我想会更得心应手。
你的价值观决定你的心态,你的心态决定你在当前环境的快乐程度。留学是不错的成长路径,也只是无数路径中的一条,所谓条条道路通罗马。获取“可迁移”的能力,以及积极开放、平淡快乐的心态才是“目的地”。

在斯特灵大学交流的这一个月,无论是对西方教学模式的体验,还是对多元文化的亲自感受,都让我获益颇丰。
斯特灵位于爱丁堡和格拉斯哥的中上方,是曾经的苏格兰的皇城。这座古老的小镇,保留了中世纪的风格和味道。走在街道上,仿佛身处十六世纪的英国。从斯特灵城堡俯瞰,你会看到一排排矮小的居民区和面积广阔的绿地。与中国的拥挤忙碌不同,这里地广人稀,生活节奏较慢。在交流期间,我们去游览了苏格兰高地、斯特灵城堡以及华莱士纪念碑,感受了自然和英国古朴文化的双重魅力。
斯特灵大学是全英国唯一建立在王宫里的大学,被誉为英国最美校园。校园里的植被覆盖率非常高,还有湖泊。下课回来的路上,我们经常能看到松鼠、天鹅等小动物。这里的人们大多养了宠物,每天都能看到狗狗们在草地上奔跑。
在这一个月里,我们感受了英国的小班教学方式。在这种教学模式下,学生们能更专注地听老师讲课,与老师进行互动,随时提出问题,随时得到答案。除此之外,另一个与国内的不同之处在于,老师上课用的PPT非常简洁,只列出了重点。我觉得这也起到了让学生更专注的作用。在国内的时候,我们可能会因为浏览PPT上过多的内容而忽略了老师的讲解,甚至有的同学通过直接背诵PPT来应付考试,而不是上课听讲或者看书。这会让教学陷入专注考试而不是知识本身的糟糕局面。在课堂里大胆地发言,也使我们变得更加自信。

InadditiontoStirling,wealsovisitedthetwomajorcitiesinScotland,EdinburghandGlasgow,duringthistimeintheUK.Walkingonthestreet,wecanseepeoplewithdifferentskincolors,differenthaircolors,anddifferentdressingstyles.Feelingthedifferenceintheworldmakesusmoreinclusiveandopen.TheexperienceoflivingintheUKnotonlygivesusabetterunderstandingofforeigncountries,butalsostrengthensourconfidenceinourhomeland.Forexample,whenlookingattheAustralianmountainfirethathasnotbeenextinguishedforfourmonths,thefirstconsiderationwehaveistheobjectivefactors,suchasthedifficultyoffirefightingcausedbysparselypopulatedareasinEuropeancountriesandAustralia,ratherthanblamingthegovernmentforitsincompetenceatfirst.Forexample,afterseeingEuropeandeliverystaffdeliveringfoodonfoot,youwilllamenthowdevelopedChina'sfooddeliveryindustryis.Comparedtofancytourism,Iamveryfortunatetohavetheopportunitytolearnmoreaboutthelifeandcultureofacountry.

难忘的旅程

山西一连下了好多天的雪。山顶、树间、湖面、田野,入目白色遮天蔽地。迎面吹来的冷风呼啸而过,凛冽如刀。干干的空气又总是躁动不安。身处如此典型的北方冬天,总是会让我想起斯特灵清爽的冬季,想起在斯特灵大学为期一月的交流生活。2019年12月7日至2020年1月2日,我万分荣幸的作为山西大学校际交流团队的一员赴英国斯特灵大学展开为期一月的学习和生活。这期间收获满满,也感受多多。现我将主要从课程学习、文化活动和日常生活三个方面介绍在此次校际交流活动中的所感所想。
一、课程学习
校级交流活动的首要内容是学习。斯特灵大学的课程内容包括个人发展培训、学术英语、气候变化与法律以及四个法律讲座。通过这些课程的学习,我对斯特灵大学的课程设置、课堂氛围以及思考方式等有了更加直观的感受。一是课程设置合理。斯特灵大学将个人发展培训、学术英语以及陈程博士的讲座安排在第一周,以便我们快速适应全英文授课环境,为后续课程做好准备。二是课堂活跃。斯特灵大学的课堂基本都是小组活动。老师们注重对课堂氛围的调动和学生的课堂参与度。如Elaine老师会让小组完成一项任务强调小组合作的重要性。Pontian老师会不断地引导学生提出问题解答问题,培养学生的问题思维。三是思考方式。以前在学习中也经常会听到“批判性思维”,但似乎从未真正体会到批判性思维的内涵。在学术英语课堂,Anne每次会用一个日常话题引导我们运用批判性思维进行辩证思考,帮助我们打开思维,充分思考。四是图书资源。闲暇时我们会去斯特灵的图书馆看书。斯特灵的图书馆环境优雅,设施完善,资源全面且分类合理,提供了良好的学习环境。
二、文化活动
斯特灵大学为我们准备了丰富的文化活动。参观斯特灵城堡、斯特灵校园游、格兰蔻一日行、圣诞宴会等极大地充实了我们在斯特灵的交流生活,也让我们对斯特灵、对苏格兰的文化有了全面和立体的认识。斯特灵城堡、华莱士纪念碑、苏格兰国家博物馆等为我们了解苏格兰的历史文化提供了良好的素材。校园游、格兰蔻则更直观地被苏格兰魅力的自然风景震撼。校园里的湖水波光粼粼,优雅骄傲的天鹅、灵巧的海鸥、慢吞吞的鸭子,还有一些叫不上名字的小动物,在冬日的暖阳中悠闲自得。遮天蔽日的乌鸦、相亲相爱的松鼠一家,还有难得一见的林中鹿,穿梭于树林间。整个斯特灵校园生机勃勃。在格兰蔻,U型大峡谷的奇观,雪山的巍峨,山间缥缈的雾气,给格兰蔻蒙上了神秘的面纱。天地之气孕育万物。置身于格兰蔻,更多的是对自然的敬畏之心。
值得一提的是,苏格兰对于社会弱势群体的基础设施建设很完善。无论在斯特灵,爱丁堡,还是格拉斯哥,残疾人士、孕妇以及推着婴儿车的妈妈出街是常态。他们完全可以自己一个人逛超市、逛街、看展览。他们完全微笑着享受生活。超市会有专门的人员帮助残疾人士,购物筐也有残疾人专用。商场有残疾人专用的卫生间,残疾人专用通道,公交车的上下车处与地面齐平,残疾人与推婴儿车的妈妈很容易上下车,斯特灵大学内的很多门均是红外感应门,不需伸手推。这些基础设施的不断完善为社会弱势群体提供了极大便利,更是对其生活和生命尊严的保障。
三、日常生活
斯特灵冬天的黑夜总是来得急匆匆。我们也努力抓住斯特灵的白天丰富日常生活。吃的方面,我们体验了当地的fishandchips,热情意大利人的披萨,著名的威士忌,圣诞节还得到公寓管理员的手工甜食。在品尝当地特色菜之外,我们还尝试自己下厨。在斯特灵出行是很方便的。我们出行大多乘坐公交车,有特色的是,下车前必须按铃向司机示意方可下车。我们还乘坐火车去格拉斯哥和爱丁堡。火车站复古又漂亮。火车上环境很好,阅读在火车上很常见。此外,我们还会在闲暇时去喂天鹅,喂鸭子,喂乌鸦,喂松鼠,还会经常去林间寻找小鹿。在斯特灵的日常生活总是觉得快乐又短暂。
最后,在这次交流中我收获颇丰。在学习方面,更加懂得思维的重要性,全英文的环境极大地提升了我的英语水平。同时,也对斯特灵、对苏格兰的文化有了直观的感受与深刻的理解。非常感谢山西大学、国际教育交流学院和法学院各位领导和老师给我这次宝贵的机会走出国门,拓宽眼界,增长学识。同时,对斯特灵大学的各位老师与同学在交流期间的耐心指导和无微不至的照顾深表感激。

Stirling'swinternightsalwayscomeinahurry.WealsotryourbesttoseizeStirling'sdaytoenrichourdailylife.Intermsoffood,weexperiencedlocalfishandchips,pizzamadebyenthusiasticItalians,famouswhiskey,andhandmadesweetsmadebyapartmentmanagersatChristmas.Apartfromtastinglocalspecialties,wealsotriedtocookourselves.ItisveryconvenienttotravelinStirling.Mostofustravelbybus.Whatisspecialisthatwemustringthebelltosignaltothedriverbeforegettingoff.WealsotaketrainstoGlasgowandEdinburgh.Therailwaystationisretroandbeautiful.Theenvironmentonthetrainisverygood,readingisverycommononthetrain.Inaddition,wealsofeedswans,ducks,crowsandsquirrelsinoursparetime,andoftengotothewoodstolookfordeer.DailylifeinStirlingisalwayshappyandshort-lived.

一、学习方面
众所周知,大部分中国学生比起口语和听力,更擅长阅读和写作,这也就是为什么中国学生可以考试,但交流起来就可能没有那么流畅的原因。来斯特灵学习之前,最为担心的就是我的英语听说能力。上课时是否能听懂老师的讲授内容?关于老师的上课时的课件和资料是否可以看懂理解?课下有疑问时,能否用英语清楚地表达出疑惑之处都成为我出发前大大的顾虑。来斯特灵大学的第一天就加重了我的思想负担,在跟大学志愿者Tom交流的时候,我因为没有听懂其中一句他说的话导致卡壳了好久,我心里有点尴尬。但当第一次上课时,我的顾虑消减了一半,个人发展训练课的老师说话特意放慢了语速,尽量减少了苏格兰口音,我们理解起来也省力不少,95%都能听懂。
中西方授课方式也给我带来不少冲击,相较于国内,斯大的老师更倾向于启发学生的批判思维,在一步一步过程中让我们得出自己的结论。无论是学术英语还是法律研讨,我们不仅仅只是坐在教室里,更是参与其中,真正的让自己成为课堂的主人,而老师只是辅助者。台湾老师讲述的一节法律研讨中,她让我们通过自己下定义,查询法条,理解法条,再加以点拨指导,最终让我们透彻了解什么是当事人意思自治原则,这给我留下了深刻印象。

吃了吗?是中国人地道的问候方式,而到了苏格兰,就是“horribleweatherright?”讨论天气成了开启话题的必选项,朦胧的雨天很清爽舒适,晴天和阳光就更像难得礼物!同时我也注意到,英式绅士的礼貌作风在日常生活体现的淋漓尽致,几乎是将“excuseme”“sorry”挂在嘴边,人与人之间亲近但掌握分寸,有礼节不疏远,让我也逐渐习惯了sorry不离口。未出发前,三十个人互相不熟悉,有些连名字也不知道,可是在一个月的配合协作中,我们逐渐熟悉了解,并拥有了一段美好回忆,收获了友谊。三十个人,三十天,从山西大学到斯特灵大学,从中国到苏格兰,这是属于我们不可磨灭难以忘怀的独家记忆。

一、苏格兰初体验

北方的苏格兰,在英国人的心目中,可能是粗犷,甚至是粗鲁的代名词。也许不拘小节是苏格兰人民的秉性,也许就像中国北方城市一样,靠北边的地域,没有江南城市的秀气,却透着一股独有的热情与粗犷,就好像喝苏格兰威士忌时的感觉一样。
二、斯特灵大学
(一)校园
斯特灵大学校园堪称苏格兰最美丽的地方,陡峻的Ochil山,300多公顷风景如画的森林公园,古老的Airthrey城堡、威严的Wallace纪念碑和Airthrey湖上成群结队的鸟群,让每位前来学习的学生心旷神怡。学生宿舍、演播厅、实验室、图书馆和各种各样的体育场馆就分布在这些美丽的景色之中。

给我印象最深的是,这里的打印、复印、充值,都是自助式服务,墙上都有明确的操作方法,作为一个大学生,想必也看得懂,操作几次,也就熟练了。这样的做法,避免了多余的劳动力,可谓极大地节省了人力物力。而还书处的工作人员和书架整理人员,也都是由在校学生组成,给了很多学生在校园里勤工俭学的机会。
(四)教学方式
英国的教学方式真的和国内的很不相同。
其次,考试模式不同。虽然没有参加英国的考试,但是经我了解,英国的期末考试对于本科生来说,每门课除了期末考试之外,基本上还会有一个论文要写,有的在期中交,有的在期末交,另外还会依据课程的不同,增设小测验等平时测试的方式,来让你持续不断地学习,而不是把压力集中到期末上去。所以,国内延续下来的懒散学习方式,在这里是完全行不通的。
再次,考试的严肃性。英国期末考试的试卷,通常都有三选一的选择余地,就是你可以在三个题目中挑一个你拿手的来做,可以说是尽量帮你争取分数的一种试卷。而考试过程中的作弊是绝对不允许的,甚至在监考老师说了停笔后,如果你还在动笔改你的试卷,也有可能被监考老师算为作弊(我一位朋友就有亲身经历,当时一位女监考老师的强硬责备态度,让她心惊胆战,还好后来没事)。因为他们认为,在说了停笔后还在写的,就是对其他考生的不尊重,不管你是出于什么原因没有做完,停笔之后的修改,都是不行的。
三、结语
一个月的交流生活,让我收获很多,其中我觉得出国之后最大的收获,就是觉得自己懂事了很多,明白了一个人在外的不易与艰辛,所有事情都要靠自己的亲力亲为,不能再依靠远在天边的亲人了。很多事情,只有自己体验过了,才能真正明白和体会到。

TheweatherinBritainismostlyrainyandsunnymostofthetime.ThetimeofourexchangecoincidedwiththelongwinterinScotland,anditwasalreadydarkaround4pm.Inaddition,theweatheriscloudyandcloudy,whichisalsoagreatfeature.OnceIlookedoutthewindowinthedormitory,Ifoundthatithadgonefromraining,tosunnyandsunny,torainingmerelyinanhour.SometimeswhenIwalkingalongtheroad,therewasalightrain,butwhenIfoundaplacetohide,itgetsfine.ThereisalsoabigfeatureoftheweatherinScotland,whichisthatthewindisverystrong,anditistoolargetosupporttheumbrella,becausetheskeletonoftheumbrellacaneasilybreak.

TheUniversityofStirlingcampusisthemostbeautifulplaceinScotland,havingthesteepMountOchil,apicturesqueforestparkofover300hectares,theancientAirthreyCastle,themajesticWallaceMonumentandtheflocksofbirdsonLakeAirthrey.Inaddition,Students'dormitories,studios,laboratories,libraries,andvarioussportsvenuesarelocatedinthebeautifulscenery.
2.Dormitory
Foreigndormitoriesareverydifferentfromdomesticones.Theyareusuallysinglerooms,andmoreprivacy.Theschoolhelpedusbookasingleroom.Thekitchenisanecessityinthedormitory,sowhenabroad,Chinesestudentsareusuallynottoolazyandcanbecomemasterchefs.Inyoursparetime,youcanalsotrytomakecakes,becausetheovenisalsoamust-haveinforeigners'kitchens.
3.Library
ThelibraryoftheUniversityofStirlingcanbedescribedasthegospelofbooklovers.Theopeningtimeofthelibraryisfrom7amtomidnight.Whatimpressedmemostwasthatprinting,copying,andrechargingwereallself-service,andtherewereclearoperatingmethodsonthewall.Thisapproachhasavoidedredundantlaborandhasgreatlysavedmanpowerandmaterialresources.Thestaffofthereturnofficeandtheorganizersofthebookshelvesarealsocomposedofstudentsatschool,givingmanystudentstheopportunitytoworkhardandstudyoncampus.
4.Teachingmode
TheteachingmodeintheUKisreallyverydifferentfromthatinChina.
Firstofall,theclassesaredifferent.Eachcourseisbasicallycarriedoutintheformofgroupdiscussions,andthecontenttaughteachweektakesalotoftimetoread,digest,andprepare,otherwiseyoumayappearalittleduringthegroupdiscussion.
Second,thetestmodeisdifferent.AlthoughIdidn’ttaketheexamintheUK,IunderstandfromfriendsthatforundergraduatestudentsintheUK.Inadditiontotheexam,therewillbasicallybeanessaytobewritten,withsomesubmittedinthemiddleoftheperiod,somesubmittedattheendoftheperiod.Inaddition,accordingtothedifferentcourses,theusualtestssuchasquizzeswillbeaddedtoallowyoutocontinuelearninginsteadoffocusingontheendofthestress.Therefore,thelazylearningmethodcontinuedinthecountryistotallyunworkablehere.

教育的交流也许会影响世界的进程。从历史角度来看,各个国家似乎都有这样的经历。我国的著名法学家史尚宽先生,留学日本、德国、法国,掌握四门语言,归国之后在法学人才极度稀缺的情况下,起草《中华民国民法》。日本,佩里叩关,想要偷渡的吉田松荫虽以失败而告终,但这并没有停止向西方学习的脚步,大量留学生的回国,促使日本教育模式、科学技术、生活文化的西方化。而这种情况,在一个国家迅速发展的过程中,数不胜数。我国教育、经济、环保等各方面仍旧和西方国家存在差距,因此,学习西方先进科技、文化等,并不是晚清时期的专利,现在仍旧有必要将教育与国际接轨的现实基础。
通过在斯特灵大学为期一个月的交流学习,收获颇多。读万卷书,行万里路。书本上的知识终究要用到实践中去。这次交流的机会,是学校不断发展,与国际不断接轨的结果。同时,也是改革开放以来中国的经济和教育不断发展的结果。能有机会在本科期间出国交流,确实令人惊喜。接下来,谈一下在出国交流期间自己的心得体会。
不同国家的发展注定会产生各方面的区别,主要是文化上的区别,从教育到衣食住行,都具象地体现着这些区别。但是,出国以前,仅仅是知道有所区别,但并不知道具体的状况。而这方面的欠缺,只有通过亲身实践经历才会真切地感受到。入乡随俗这句话的前提是“入”,缺少这一步,难以实现对外国的真正了解的。而身为学生,深入了解另一个国家的文化,这样的机会是很少的。山西大学为学生提供的机会着实宝贵。
一、关于语言
语言是沟通的桥梁,当你学会一门语言,就学到了一种文化。通过一个月的交流学习,无论是老师上课还是和当地的人进行沟通,都深切感受到了语言的重要性,深入了解当地文化的前提也是语言。而随着中国国际地位的不断提升、经济贸易不断走向全球、国家间教育交流的需要,语言在教育中的地位会不断提升。
二、关于学习
我国和英国有着大陆法系和英美法系之间的差异。单纯接受书本上的知识难以深入了解当地法律。当走在各个城市的街头,看着不同于国内的古老风格的建筑,更加深入了对于法律知识的认知。法律同样是民族精神的产物,不同的历史产生了不同的文化环境,导致了法律的不同。而英国作为多种部门法的起源地,同时也产生了诸多影响世界的法学家和律师,在这里交流的一个月,还有诸多老师所提到的IP,深切感受到学问研究需要有严谨认真的精神,而不能抄袭、剽窃。

个人发展及就业课程是斯特灵大学的特色课程之一,Eline老师引导我们学习在就业时用人单位所看重的技能,培养我们的团队合作精神并让我们学习如何自我发展和提高的能力。对于我们今后的职业发展有很大的帮助。
学术英语是针对外国留学生专门开设的课程。Ann老师的风格更为严肃同时我们也学到了更多。虽然在短短一个月的课程当中我们并不能进行大量的知识积累,但Ann老师告诉了我们学习的方法以及学习过程当中需要注意的地方,这些方法和技巧在我整个学习期间都非常有益。
在斯特灵大学的生活同在国内高校的生活无疑是十分不同的。最显著不同的就是住宿条件了,斯特灵大学十分注重学生的隐私及生活状态,它为每个学生准备了单人公寓,配备了宽敞的书桌以供学习,宽大舒适的床提供充分的休息,干净整洁的浴室可以让学生照顾好自己。并且在楼层当中配备了厨房,这对学生生活技能是一项很大的考验,同时也有很大提升。在斯特灵大学提高最为明显的可能就是厨艺了。并且在英国学生文化当中最具特色的可能就是派对文化了。同学们通过举办派对来扩大自己的社交圈,和不同文化背景的人交朋友,既开阔了自己的眼界又得到了很好的朋友。在斯特灵大学交流期间我们有幸在苏格兰感受到了圣诞节的节日气氛,并且GraceWang老师为我们准备了圣诞节派对,让我们对苏格兰的人文风情有了更进一步的体验和了解。
三、文化方面
斯特灵是一个十分友好的小镇,它对外来人口十分的欢
迎。学生自己做饭就意味着我们必须去校外采购,在超市和街道我们同当地人有了一些接触。在超市我们遇到过一位对中国文化非常感兴趣的老人,和我们讨论中国长城的历史和作用;在商场遇到友好的服务人员为我们服务提供便利。我最直观的感受便是对所有人,无论职业无论性别的尊重,乘坐巴士时大家都会同司机先生问好和再见,路上遇到清道夫都会微笑和简单问候,一切都富有人情味。在圣诞节期间,街道上还会有一些表演者,各式各样的表演形式十分夺人眼球,行人们也毫不吝啬给予他们支持。
总而言之,斯特灵大学是一所非常适合学习的大学,风景的优美用言语无法形容,照片不及现实的三分之一;专业水平一流,可以给我们专业的指导和学习;住宿十分舒适,同学习生活配合完美。

记得刚下飞机,我们就经历了英国的“雨”,与太原气候的反差使得这种来到苏格兰的感觉异常的清晰。在王老师的带领下,我们终于到达了学校。在这里我们领略了全英最美的大学校园。

2019年的最后一个月,我有幸抓住了它的小尾巴,在山西大学和法学院的大力支持下,赴斯特灵大学进行为期四周的交流学习,这一切似乎是梦想的所在,却也让人沉醉其间、怯问归期。
对斯特灵的最初印象,始终停留在书本文字中勾勒出的寥寥几笔,而直到踏上这片全然陌生的土地,才明白再多富丽堂皇的文字与之相较是多么的苍白无力。
或许是远处高地连绵的山川,亦或是宿舍楼下迷雾缭乱的湖泊,千里之外,来到斯特灵大学,就为它着迷,被它所吸引。
有别于国内教学,斯特灵大学以启发性教学,努力拓展同学们自我思考,在各色课堂中充分激发同学们与老师讨论沟通,鼓励所有同学表达与发言,以一个课题,反复思考,逐步养成批判性思维,也通过对不同的教学风格的接触与体验,为今后形成自己独特学习方法种下一株幼苗。
大学依山傍水,与自然同居,虽然访学于冬季,夜长昼短,天寒地冻,但丝毫不觉无趣。
有时,深深思念家乡的中国胃无法于食堂餐厅得到完全的满足,那便与好友搭伙,自给自足。前往超市采购,于夕阳落下之际满载而归,在餐厅切切炒炒,各式菜肴便摆上餐桌,结伴共食,一份美味多重满足。食物的香气越过窗户,在宿舍楼下经过,不时闻到各国美味,会心一笑,下顿的菜肴便有了着落,卸下繁杂琐事,美妙的无以言喻。
离别的前夕恰逢苏格兰的各色节日,从圣诞节到BoxingDay,从TorchlightProcession到HogmonayFestival,节日的喜悦呼之欲出。即使是白天甚短,阳光稀缺的冬季,苏格兰人们依然能每天面带笑容喜气洋洋,各种庆典活动热闹的可爱。节日来临,吃一口苏格兰特色美味Haggis,饮一杯冒着气泡的威士忌,与家人友人共度美好时光,倒数十秒迎来2020年,烟花盛放,在这里许下对来年的愿望期冀。

这次校际交流分为上课篇、文化篇、生活篇三个部分。
上课部分,课程安排主要有个人发展培训、学术英语和法学专业课的讲座。通过这几门课程的学习,体验到了国外不同于国内的上课方式,讨论式教学,老师授课以学生为主,老师的作用在于启发学生的自主思考,培养学生的自主思维能力。批判性思考是老师教学的重点,每节课老师都会准备好几个讨论的问题,让同学们从各个角度提炼出自己的观点,清晰表达并说明理由。另外,斯特灵大学的教学强调小组合作,小组讨论,注重团队精神。老师们上课也非常热情,对我们十分耐心。考虑到我们的英文水平,老师们特意放慢语速,告诉我们听不懂的可以随时举手提问。GraceWang老师还带领我们前往EngineShed、CruachanPowerStation分别听取了关于苏格兰气候变化与立法和发电站的讲座,进一步了解了一些专业的知识。
文化部分,我们参观了斯特灵大学,体验到了斯大美丽的校园环境和包容多样的校园文化;参观了斯特灵城堡和华莱士纪念碑,感受到了浓厚的苏格兰历史的氛围。在格拉斯哥和爱丁堡,我们更多的体验到了不同的建筑风格、各种教堂、都市的繁华、独特的饮食等。在前往格兰科的路上,看到了美丽的风景,特殊的地形地貌植被等,雪山与湖水交相辉映,倒映着蓝天白云,仿若人间仙境。另外,我们还参加了苏格兰的圣诞和跨年活动,听到了特色的苏格兰风笛的演奏。
这次交流活动对我而言,收获之一是体验了这里的上课形式,不同的启发学生思维的方式,对我之后学习如何思考问题提供了很好的参考。收获之二是在一次次的日常交流中,锻炼了自己的英文水平,尽管还有非常大的提升空间。这也让我更加清晰的认识到了自己的不足,今后将更有针对性地去弥补自己的短板,提升自己的英文水平。收获之三是我学会了做饭,虽不至于很精致,但至少可以靠自己的双手解决自己的一日三餐,在这个过程中也感受到了做饭的乐趣。
最后,我很感谢山西大学为我们提供的这一次交流学习的机会,感谢斯特灵大学的老师们为我们做的一切。我们会把这次学习的经验充分应用到以后的学习生活中去,不辜负老师们的厚望。

Thisinter-schoolexchangeisdividedintothreeparts:lectures,culture,andlife.
Intheculturalpart,wevisitedtheUniversityofStirlingandexperiencedthebeautifulcampusenvironmentandinclusivecampusculture.WealsovisitedtheStirlingCastleandtheWallaceMonumentandfeltthestrongatmosphereofScotlandhistory.InGlasgowandEdinburgh,wehavemoreexperienceddifferentarchitecturalstyles,variouschurches,urbanprosperity,uniquefoodandsoon.OnthewaytoGranco,Isawbeautifullandscapes,specialterrainandvegetation.Snowmountainsandlakescomplementeachother,reflectingblueskyandwhiteclouds,likeafairylandonearth.Inaddition,wealsoparticipatedinChristmasandNewYear'sEveeventsinScotlandandheardtheperformanceofthecharacteristicScottishbagpipes.
Forthelivingpart,wetastedsomeofthespecialtieshere.However,mostofthetimeweshareacarandgotothesupermarkettobuyingredientsandcookourownmeals.TheUniversityofStirling'saccommodationenvironmentisalsosuperb.Thedormitoryisasingleroom,andapublickitchenandcleaningtoolsareprovidednexttoit,whichprovidesconvenientconditionsforeveryone'slife.Inthesparetime,wewillstrollaroundthecampus,admirethebeautifulsceneryofSida,ortakebreadtofeedtheducksandcygnets,andtheywilleathappilyeverytime.
Forme,oneofthebenefitsofthisexchangeactivitywastoexperiencetheclassformhere,differentwaystoinspirestudents'thinking,andprovidedagoodreferenceformetolearnhowtothinkaboutproblemslater.ThesecondbenefitisthatIhaveexercisedmyEnglishlevelindailycommunication,althoughthereisstillalotofroomforimprovement.Thisalsomadememoreclearlyrecognizemyshortcomings,andIwillmakemoretargetedeffortstomakeupformyshortcomingsandimprovemyEnglish.ThethirdbenefitisthatIlearnedtocook.Althoughnotverydelicate,Icanatleastsolvemythreemealsadaywithmyownhands.Ialsofeltthejoyofcookingintheprocess.

这一个月出了学习活动之外,还安排了许多课外活动,体会了苏格兰的风景。比如格伦科大峡谷,苏格兰高地,都是独属于苏格兰的风景。
就像是山西的平遥古城、乔家大院一样,带有了独属于这一地区的历史感。在斯特灵大学不远的地方就矗立着华莱士纪念碑,在无事时可以同几个同学一起去爬爬,去体会威廉华莱士那份勇敢的心。每个地区的文化都有一份独有的吸引力,正如我们中国或者山西文化对于外国人来说也是充满着吸引力,这就是文化的魅力!

斯特灵大学的课程设置范围广,多达160多门选修课供学生选择,课程内容兼具实践和理论。尤其是职业规划课程,我们上了为期两周的职业规划课程,对职业规划有了全新的认识。从自我评估、市场需求及两者之间的对接、面试等整个流程做了详细的讲解,并当堂模拟,课程设置实用性非常强。
短短一个月的学习生活,我们收获颇丰,对斯特灵大学的各个方面也有了深入的了解,从校园环境到学校教学,无一不为之震撼。感谢山西大学和斯特灵大学给我们的这次机会,让我们有机会开阔眼界,开眼看世界,也感谢为我们这次项目付出努力的各位老师和同学。

WiththesupportofShanxiUniversity,wearefortunatetohaveashort-termexchangestudyattheUniversityofStirling,UK,fromDecember6,2019,toJanuary2,2020.Duringtheperiodofin-depthexchangesattheUniversityofStirling,wehavegreatlyimprovedourstudyandlifeandgainedadeeperunderstandingofScottishculture.
Afterfourweeksofstudy,Imainlytalkabouttheimprovementofourlearningandthinkingmodeduringthistime.Wehaveapreliminaryunderstandingofthebasiccurriculum,teachingcontentandmethodsoftheUniversityofStirling,andhavegainedalotinacademicthinkingthroughspecialthinkingtraining.
TheUniversityofStirlinghasawiderangeofcourses,withmorethan160electivecoursesforstudentstochoose,andthecontentofthecourseisbothpracticalandtheoretical.Especiallythecareerplanningcourse,wetookatwo-weekcareerplanningcourseandgainedanewunderstandingofcareerplanning.Theentireprocessfromself-assessment,marketdemandandthedockingandinterviewbetweenthetwowereexplainedindetail,andsimulatedintheclassroom.
Asfarasthinkingpatternsareconcerned,whattouchesmemostisthecriticalandconcretethinkinginthelearningprocess.Criticalthinkingisnotthecognitiveworldofperceptualrumors,norisitjustakindofnegativethinking.Italsohascreativeandconstructiveabilities-itcangivemorealternativeexplanationsforonething,andthinkabouttheresultsofresearch.Meaning,andcanusetheacquirednewknowledgetosolvesocialandpersonalproblems,andseetheproblemfromaunifiedandunifiedperspective.Intermsofconcretebehavior,itismorelogical.Afteraperiodofstudy,Ihaverealizedthe"inversemodel"fromshallowtodeep,andfrommacrotomicro.Thethinkinghasbeengreatlyimproved,andforthefutureAcademicresearchprovidedsomehelp.

在斯特灵大学交流的一个月是我人生中一段非常珍贵的时光,短短的一个月,我的心情从十二月初坐上飞机的忐忑不安到一月初离开时的不舍,这一个月实在带给了我太多的经历和成长。
首先,要感谢山西大学在背后的支持和付出,有母校在背后做我们坚强的后盾才有我们这次交流项目的成功。也要感谢在背后默默付出的各位老师,尹老师、庞老师、GraceWang老师以及法学院的各位老师,本次交流活动的顺利完成与各位老师的辛勤付出是分不开的。
初到斯特灵大学,感触最深的就是这里优美的环境。山清水秀,空气清新,还有经常可以见到的各种动物。无与伦比的优美环境让在这里学习都成为了一种享受,学习压力大的时候在学校里散散步心情也会变得很好。真的希望有一天太原的空气和环境也可以这么好。
除了自然环境,更加直观的感受是这里完善的基础设施。尤其是宿舍,斯特灵大学的宿舍有舒适的床铺,宽大的书桌和干净的独立卫生间,还有方便的公共厨房,这些完备的基础设施让学生的生活更加便捷。斯特灵大学里还有随处可见的专为残障人士设置的设施,比如无障碍通道和电动门按钮,残障人士可以在这里畅通无阻,体现了浓厚的人文关怀。
斯特灵大学的课堂也给我们带来了很多很多全新的体验。出国之前的我认为国外大学的课堂是很轻松简单的,当我真的在斯特灵大学开始上课,便有了彻底的改观。这里的课堂气氛虽然很随意轻松,但是课堂参与度很高,每个人的积极性都被调动了起来,主动参与到课堂讨论中来。大家在对问题的讨论中共同实现对问题的深入探讨,这样的课堂给人留下了极其深刻的印象,让每个人都从课堂里收获颇多。在法学的专业课堂上,这样的体会更是深刻,老师带我们以小组为单位从名词概念入手进行讨论,循序渐进,让我们对国际商事仲裁有了更为全面深刻的理解。斯特灵大学独特的PersonalDevelopmentTraining课程中,老师让我们意识到自己拥有的和需要加强的技能,让我们在将来的求职和工作过程中更加自信。
短短的一个月,我们从吃、住、行、学习等多个方面深入体会到了英国的文化。斯特灵拥有悠久的历史,同时具有英国和苏格兰两种文化风情,作为交流项目的目的地,斯特灵既能让我们领略到厚重的历史文化又能感受到先进的现代文明。这一个月里,我们在陌生的环境下学会了很多事情,比如,独立做饭独立生活,完全用英语与外国人交流,合理安排个人事务与团队事务,等等。得到提升的不只是我们的英语水平,还有团队协作的能力,独立生活的能力,这些成长经历会让我们受益终身。再次感恩我们的母校山西大学为我们提供的这次难得的机会。

TheexchangingexperienceintheUniversityofStirlingwasaveryprecioustimeinmylife.Injustonemonth,myheartwentfromthedreadofgettingonaplaneinearlyDecembertothedreadofleavinginearlyJanuary,thismonthhasgivenmesomuchexperienceandgrowth.
Firstofall,thankstoShanxiUniversityforthesupportandpay,whoasourstrongbackingandmakesitpossibleforustohavesuccessinthisexchangeprogram.Wealsowanttothanktheteachersfortheirpay,Mrs.Yin,Mr.Pang,andGraceWangandtheteachersfromlawschool,thesuccessfulcompletionofthisexchangeactivityandthehardworkofteachersisinseparable.
WhenIfirstarrivedattheUniversityofStirling,Iwasmostimpressedbythebeautifulenvironment.Thesceneryisbeautiful,theairisfresh,andthereareallkindsofanimalsthatcanbeseenfrequently.Theincomparablebeautifulenvironmentmakesstudyinghereakindofenjoyment,whenstudyingpressureisheavy,walkingoncampuswillhelpyourmoodbecomeverygood.IreallyhopethattheairandenvironmentinTaiyuanwillbesogoodoneday.
TheclassattheuniversityofStirlingalsobroughtusmanynewexperiences.BeforeIwentabroad,Ithoughtclassesatforeignuniversitieswereveryeasy,andwhenIactuallystartedlearningattheuniversityofStirling,itwasacompletechange.Althoughtheclassroomatmospherehereisverycasualandrelaxed,theclassroomparticipationisveryhigh,everyone'senthusiasmhasbeenmobilized,activelyparticipateintheclassroomdiscussion.Wediscusstheprobleminthecollectiverealizationofthedeepdiscussionoftheproblem,suchalessonleftaverydeepimpression,leteveryoneintheclassroomgainalot.Intheprofessionalcourseoflaw,thisexperienceismoreprofound,theteachertookusasagrouptostartfromtheconceptofnounsdiscussion,stepbystep,letushaveamorecomprehensiveandprofoundunderstandingofinternationalcommercialarbitration.IntheuniversityofStirling'suniquePersonalDevelopmentTrainingcourse,ateachermakesusawareoftheskillswehaveandtheskillsweneedtostrengthen,whichwillmakeusmoreconfidentinourfuturejobsearchingandcareerpath.
Inashortmonth,wehavegotacomprehensiveunderstandingofBritishculture.Stirlinghasalonghistory,bothBritishandScottishCulturalCustoms,asadestinationforexchangeprojects,Stirlingallowsustoexperienceboththerichhistoricalcultureandadvancedmoderncivilization.Inthismonth,wehavelearnedmanythingsundertheunfamiliarenvironment,forexample,independentcooking,independentliving,completelyuseEnglishtocommunicatewithforeigners,reasonablearrangeourpersonalaffairsandteamaffairs,andsoon.ItisnotonlyourEnglishlevelthathasbeenimproved,butalsoourabilitytoworkasateamandtoliveindependently.Theseexperienceswillbenefitusinlife.ThanksagaintoShanxiUniversityforprovidinguswiththisrareopportunity.

时光荏苒,岁月如梭。转眼间,山西大学对斯特灵大学的访学交流项目圆满结束。这些成果,离不开学院领导们的支持鼓励,也离不开老师与同学们的悉心配合。斯特灵大学是坐落在苏格兰土地上一颗闪耀的星星,而山西大学是一所具有深厚历史底蕴的大学,我在此生活了近四年,每每感叹于校园的一草一木的枯荣衰败、春去冬来;此次山西大学与斯特灵大学的交流合作,是一次新式教学理念的输入与山西传统文化的输出。山大师生也能凭借此次机会开拓国际视野。
我们在2019年12月5日举行了一次欢送会,其中周校长发表了一番发人深省的言论。虽然在此之前已经有几位老师耳提面命,出门在外要谨言慎行,注意安全,但是对于我们此次出行的收获,并不很确信。我一直在思考,这次出行的目的,以及肩负的使命……直到周校长阐明:我们出国收获的是更为开阔的视野,更加灵活与具有批判性的思维方式;我想,这大概就是我当下最需要的能力了。我坚信,一个人的成就绝不仅体现于他或她的学历上,而是体现于他或她的能力与视野上。有时候,看待问题的角度不同,的确能发现自己存在的优势与劣势。我觉得这就是山西大学给予我的礼物。作为一名应届本科毕业生,经历了4年的法律学习,仍然发现自己只是初窥法律的门槛,对于它带给我更深层次的含义,我也未曾想过。知识或许是一把钥匙,开启了一扇门,然而浩渺的知识世界时而使人迷茫,智慧的思考在这个时候是必不可少的。
校长同样也给我们分析了山西大学当今对外交往合作办学所处的弱势地位,因此,我们必然承载着使命出访。这是我不禁想起了敬爱的周恩来总理出访日内瓦的场面。虽然我们的出行并不足以达到国家外事出访这样的标准。但仔细思量,我们的出行从宏观层面来说,是一次国家形象的体现;从微观层面来说,是一次山西大学学生素质与风采的展示。使命,又一次被继承!观望山西的能源经济,不断的革新眼界、格局,将会为未来的山西注入强心剂。
紧接着,尹老师又展开了对于斯特灵大学近期安排的详细介绍,感谢老师们的悉心安排!逐渐地,我开始期待漫步于斯特灵大学的校园里,感受不同于国内教学的课堂模式以及未来的伙伴们。
2019年12月6日11点50分,我们大家于学校工会前,坐上大巴前往太原武宿机场,领导与老师们纷纷为我们送行。满载着山西大学的美好愿景,我们出发了!行程是这样安排的,我们首先前往北京首都国际机场T2航站楼,乘坐机场换乘车至T3航站楼,办理托运手续。这时候,入眼即是各种肤色的人,也有靓丽的头戴纱巾冠帽的空姐。
夜深,我们登上了去往多哈的飞机,同行的空姐很可爱美丽,她们大概是卡塔尔人,我与坐在我周围的大哥聊天:他是成都人,去伊拉克务工……空气中弥漫着阿拉伯的风情。机上的菜肴颇丰,机长说着带有阿拉伯语风味的英语,有些令人费解。聆听着阿拉丁音乐与古兰经,逐渐入眠……
2019年12月10日是晴朗无云的一天,早上九点,我们于校团的图书馆集合,进行学生注册,但很遗憾,由于照片上传未过两天,学生中心不能马上就办理我们的信息,于是我们进行了校园参观,真正的走进这个校园的一草一木,每一栋建筑与生物,我们给天鹅、海鸥们喂食,也了解了校园内的植物:高山杜鹃、红豆杉......这些都曾是在中国采集的树种!我们还参观了斯特灵大学的体育运动中心,校园内运动场地占地面积很大,学校十分重视体育设施建设与运动员培养,有四十多个运动项目场所,如网球、曲棍球、足球、游泳......环绕斯特灵一周。
2019年12月11日,我们上了第一节专业课,由陈程博士授课,此次课程的名称就是中国在全球投资中扮演的角色。陈博士就双边投资协议为主线进行了讲解,同时也向我们提出了很多的问题,斯特灵大学这种的授课方式非常新颖,但是在这次专业课中,我发现我有许多专业术语不是很了解,诸如FET以及Bit双边公约的不同,中国作为ODI与IDI的历史与关键事件,这些都是从国际视角出发阐述中国对内与对外投资的性质,与以往的国内课堂教学模式不同,这种课堂可以真实感受到法律的国际化视野,而不是拘束于一省、一国之内;陈博士上课为我们介绍了乌兹别克斯坦与中国、芬兰与中国的双边投资协议、维也纳公约还有FET的框架;王弄潮同学也做了成果展示。介绍国内的对外投资立法,当然,首次法律研讨小组,也有许多我们的不足被发现,希望能够做更加自信与大胆尝试!
2019年12月14日我们大家一起去了斯特灵城堡,这真是愉快的体验!主管为我们介绍了斯特灵城堡,斯特灵城堡位于斯特灵老城中77米高的悬崖上,曾是苏格兰国王的王宫。在英国历史上有着重要地位的苏格兰玛丽女王、詹姆士六世也在这座城堡里住过。这座城堡在整个苏格兰乃至大不列颠都是标志性的建筑。它见证了苏格兰历史上的很多战争及历史运动,有人把它叫做是“苏格兰的一枚胸针”,充分显示了它的历史地位及重要性。
12世纪时斯特灵城堡就是一座非常有名的皇家城堡,在苏格兰历史上无论是涉及战争与和平的故事还是与皇权有关的故事,很多都与这座城堡有关。如果没有这座城堡的话,就不会有华莱士1297年在这里指挥的著名的斯特灵桥的战役。
此次出行我最大的收获就是拥有了更加自信乐观的心态、处理一些日常生活与复杂问题的能力以及批判性的思维方式。出行在外,我们是一个团队,要求遵守集体纪律,团结一致。通过本次交流,山西大学的学子们更为深刻的了解了西方文化与历史,特别是苏格兰当地的风土人情以及斯特灵大学的教学风格。更重要的是我们收获了一份友谊,这是山西大学与斯特灵大学建立友好合作交流关系的第一步!望山西大学博采众长、蒸蒸日上!

WeallwenttoStirlingCastleonDecember14,2019,itwasreallyapleasantexperience!ThesupervisorintroducedustoStirlingCastle,locatedona77-meter-highcliffinStirling'soldTown.ItwasoncetheroyalpalaceoftheKingofScotland.QueenMaryScotsandKingJamesVI,whoareimportantinBritishhistory,alsolivedinthiscastle.ThecastleisiconicthroughoutScotlandandGreatBritain.IthaswitnessedmanywarsandhistoricalmovementsinScottishhistory.Somepeoplecallit"abroochofScotland",whichfullyshowsitshistoricalstatusandimportance.

首先,斯特灵大学的老师不仅给我们带来了专业课程的学习,还有斯特灵大学的特色课程——就业指导课程。使我们不但学习了专业知识,也了解和增进了自己的职业技能和就业能力。
其次,在课程中,斯特灵大学采用小班式教学,我们和老师的互动非常多,这也有利于老师发现我们在学习中的问题,然后准确地给我们改进的建议。老师也会用不同的方法教授一门课程,有时候在课堂上老师会通过一个游戏来引导我们思考,课堂气氛总是非常愉悦和活泼。
在斯特灵大学学习的课程都非常实用,主要是语言课程的学习、专业课程的学习以及就业指导课程的学习。课程设置富有新意,让我们掌握了很多新颖的概念和技能,给我们未来的学习也有很大启发。
最后,课程中安排的英国文化交流让人印象深刻,Grace老师带我们参观了爱丁堡、格拉斯哥、格伦科峡谷。只有真正了解英国文化才能更好地进行学习,这些文化交流让我们实地详细地了解了英国文化,课程设置非常生动有趣,让人印象深刻。
第一次出国能来到英国是很幸运的事情,这是一个文化深厚的国家,在这里学习和生活的这28天感觉自己收获了太多。首先,作为一名大四学生,从这次的短期交流项目中我学到了专业课的知识,提高了英语水平,最重要的是形成了批判性的思维。在面对一个问题的时候,能够全面完整的看待问题,保持自己的判断,不去人云亦云。也学会了团结合作,在小组活动时,能够听取他人的意见,互相理解,一个团队向着同一个目标努力。其次,英国老师认真、严谨的治学态度也是非常值得我们学习的。他们授课条理清楚,很多复杂的内容通过讲解让我们觉得通俗易懂,但又不失严谨。第三,英国的课堂教学方法灵活多样,以学生的需求和层次为中心来设计教学,与学生积极互动,课堂既充满趣味,又能让学生对所学知识印象深刻。最后,学校管理也是极为规范的,从课堂教学、到图书馆、宿舍等也都是以学生为中心,为我们的学习提供了极大的便利。

一、初见斯特灵
“水光潋滟晴方好,山色空蒙雨亦奇”,这句赞美西子湖的诗歌来描述斯特灵大学的景色,也是那么地契合。斯特灵是一个美丽的城市,斯特灵大学是一座美丽的校园,学校环湖而建,湖里有优雅的天鹅和美丽的水鸟,树上有叽叽喳喳的鸟群。无论晴天雨天都可以在校园漫步,感受人与自然合一的美好。
二、学在斯特灵
刚开始上课时,我对自己的英语水平比较担心,虽然一直在学习英语,但是很少在全英环境下上课。后来发现老师很贴心,特意放慢了语速,而且循序渐进,帮助我们慢慢熟悉英语教学。老师注重引导,将晦涩难懂的问题变成我们熟悉的问题,虽然法律专业课比较有难度,但是经过适应,还是能够在课堂上参与到与老师的互动中并完成小组任务。批判性思维是我在斯特灵大学学到的最主要的思维模式。老师会引导我们从多方面思考问题,这种思维方式将会对我们学习研究产生很大作用。山西大学和斯特灵大学的课堂各有特色,各有长处,这也为两校的合作办学创造了条件。
三、走在斯特灵
这次的学习交流活动包括了一些文化参观的内容。我们跟随老师到了格伦科大峡谷、气象局、发电站等地,惊叹于雪山美景,也惊叹于人类的智慧。走在斯特灵的大街上,随处可见古朴的建筑,古老的斯特灵城堡安静从容,好像在诉说着这座城市的历史,铺满石子的道路延展到远方,远处是山还是海?我想,应该会有一座华莱士山,还有一座卡尔顿山,而山的那边是海,是赋予这个国家、这座城市灵魂与特点的海。
四、再见斯特灵
当2020的钟声敲响,我们也差不多该收拾行李,踏上归途了。感谢山西大学各位老师的努力,让我们在2019年末增长了见识,开阔了视野;感谢斯特灵大学各位老师的辛勤付出,为我们带来了丰富的精神食粮。“长风破浪会有时,直挂云帆济沧海”,回国后我会更加努力学习,认真完成我本科以及研究生阶段的学业,成为一个优秀的法律人,不辜负老师和学校的栽培。

首先感谢山西大学给我们提供了如此难得的机会赴斯特灵大学交流学习。通过这次活动,使我有机会走出国门,近距离了解、接触、学习斯特灵大学的生活环境与教学体系。从我知道可以赴斯特灵大学交流学习那天起,就期待着能成行的一天。我感到非常荣幸自己能拥有如此不同于别人的美妙的学习和生活经历,哪怕只有短短一月,转瞬即逝,但对我未来的发展有深远的影响。站得更高看得更远,这次活动让我有了更宽广的视野,增长了见识,更新了我的观念,这不仅仅是一次简单的交流活动,而更是一次全方面的素质培养。现将这次活动心得汇报如下:
一、学习内容
(一)课堂的主角是学生,而非老师
在课堂上,斯特灵大学的老师给我们完美展示了课堂应该以学生为中心,首先老师会大致介绍本节课的内容以及需要完成的教学任务。然后会向大家介绍小组活动的模式,同学们在理解老师的课堂模式后,就会迅速投入到自我摸索、自我学习的阶段,之后同学们在总结自己内容的基础上与小组组员进行交流协作。最后将小组总结向老师汇报,老师会做出反馈与总结。
(二)英语语言技能方面
英语在当代社会对于个人发展的作用不言而喻,而斯特灵大学也为我们安排了特别的培训环节,当然来到这里就能一直不断地练习英语。老师们用不同的方法教授了在词汇学习、语法学习、交际沟通等方面的问题。老师所教授的内容实用性很强,教授方法非常有新意。老师一再强调在国际化程度非常高的现代,掌握英语以及其他外语的重要性。这也刺激我们要不断学习不断进步。

(二)感受不同的文化
在英国的城市,教堂是必不可缺的,无论是在斯特灵还是苏格兰的首都爱丁堡,教堂与城堡都给我们留下了深刻的印象。而除此之外便是他们对古建筑的保护非常好,漫步在斯特灵的大街上,如果将街道上的汽车除去,你仿佛可以看到几百年前斯特灵的样子,它从未变过,而这里的人也非常的友好,当我们迷路的时候,当地人会热情地帮助你。

1.Feeldifferentpatternsoflife
TheshortstayatuniversityofStirlingwasalsoenoughtopracticeoursurvivalskillsandincreaseourexperienceoflivingabroad.Crossingazebracrossing,hailingataxi,orshoppingonlineandbuyingfoodinaforeigncountryareallnewexperiencesandpersonalskillsdevelopment.Whenexoticfoodsdon'tmeetyourpersonalneeds,youhavetolearnhowtocookonyourown.
2.Feeldifferentculture
InEnglishcities,churchesareindispensable.WhetherinStirlingorEdinburgh,thecapitalofScotland,churches,andcastleshaveleftadeepimpressiononus.Besides,theyprotecttheancientbuildingsverywell.WalkingonthestreetsofStirling,ifyouremovethecarsfromthestreets,youcanseewhatStirlinglookedlikehundredsofyearsago.Ithasneverchanged.
III.Summary
Justamonth,livingintheuniversityofStirlingcampus,theblondblue-eyedBritisharoundus,weimmersedintheatmosphereofpureEnglish,earstohear,eyestosee,mouthtosay,think,isEnglish.Althoughthelearningtimeisonlyafewweeks,Ifeeltheforeignlanguagebasicskills,oralskills,andotheraspectshavebeengreatlyimproved.Finally,IamverygratefultoShanxiUniversityforthislearningactivity,whichhasbroadenedmyhorizon,taughtmetheauthenticandadvancedBritishteachingmethods,andprovidedmewithanopportunitytoexperiencethenativecultureofBritain.ThemelodiousScottishbagpipeswillalwaysbeinmyheart,becomethemostmellowmemoriesofmylife.Thisactivitywillalsohavealong-termimpactonmyfuturedevelopment.
读书与行路

古人有云:“读万卷书,行千里路”,意指读书与行路要相辅相成。读万卷书,是必备之学识素养;行万里路,是亲历躬行之实践;读书在先,行路在后。非常有幸,在学校及学院的努力及协调组织下,国际交流学院及法学院师生一行32人于12月远赴英国斯特灵大学进行为期一个月的校际交流,亲身感受英国的经济社会和风土人情。交流期间,我们学习了知识、开阔了视野、增长了见识,开启了一次读书与行路完美结合的旅程。以下我从斯特灵的人文历史考察、斯特灵大学的学术考察及校际交流的心得体会等方面谈谈我本人的所想所得。
一、斯特灵的人文历史考察
斯特灵位于苏格兰中部,曾是苏格兰王国首府。后虽为爱丁堡取代,沦为皇家自治城镇(RoyalBurgh),但因雄踞低地通往高地要冲,向为兵家必争之地。史书尝言:“谁控制斯特灵,便控制苏格兰。”读苏格兰史,便知此言不虚。
进入斯特灵城,可见古风犹存——卵石或砖砌街道,中世纪教堂、屋舍、城堡;福斯河(RiverForth)从城旁缓缓流经。苏格兰低地风光,尽在眼前,不由让人发思古之幽情。悬想八百年前,这里发生史诗般的事件,涌现传奇式英雄,改写苏格兰,乃至英伦三岛的历史。
苏格兰第一次独立战争(1296–1328)中,两场决定性战役在此打赢:1297年,苏格兰民族英雄华莱士(SirWilliamWallace)率领持矛义军,在斯特灵老桥击溃英格兰弓箭与铁骑联军;1314年,罗伯特·布鲁斯(RoberttheBruce)率苏格兰民军,以少胜多,在班诺克本(Bannockburn)大败英格兰精锐之师。
斯特灵诸多人文历史遗迹已不再单单是一个历史文化印记,更多的是作为苏格兰民族的精神地标,这里凝聚了苏格兰民族对于自由的渴望与坚持不懈斗争的勇气,吸引着无数前来的访客。
二、斯特灵大学的学术考察
赴斯特灵大学进行校际交流是此行之首要目的。斯特灵大学成立于1967年,其被称为英国乃至欧洲最美的校园之一,同时Stirling大学也是英国仅有的16所拥有五星级体育设施的和英国最现代化、最有创意的优秀大学之一大学之一。更甚的是,斯特灵大学还是英国唯一建立在王宫里的大学。通过一个月的交流,结合校方为我们安排的课程设计,我的感触和收获颇多:
(一)具有鲜明特征的课堂教学
1.多元的教学模式
斯特灵大学的教学形式自由,灵活多变。教学方式通常有Lecture,Seminar,Workshop及GroupDiscussion等方式。其教学目标更多的是重在培养学生的批判性思维,培养学生利用本学科知识解决实际问题的能力。
2.注重课堂互动
斯特灵大学的课堂非常重视学生的参与度,想在这边默默无闻地找个角落安静地做个美男子是行不通的,我们必须要参与和贡献。我们经常被英国老师巧妙的课堂活动设计所折服。我曾经听到了一个格言:Furnitureisthemainbarriers,notthestudentnumber.——空间只要耍得开,什么都不是问题。
3.强调高效反馈
在中国的课堂,学生习惯于听老师授课,同学们之间缺乏交流与讨论。同时,老师也习惯于课后批改课堂布置的作业,但问题是如果学生在课堂内听不懂,老师要在课后批改作业才知道,这样就拖慢了学生学习的进度。斯特灵大学的课堂教学模式给我们很多的启发:第一种是课堂内的批改,当学生在练习题目时,我会在教室内徘徊,不断地查看学生的作业。如果有学生不明白的地方的话,我就会马上知道,然后给予他一对一的支援,让他赶上其他学生的学习进度;第二种就是传统的课后批改作业,进一步确认他们的学习进度,找出他们需要改善的地方,提升学习效率。
4.强化学生自主权
斯特灵大学的教育非常注重培养学生学习的独立性,并且更加愿意让学生整体参与到教学过程里面。班级讨论(DiscussioninSeminars)和小组讨论(DiscussioninStudyGroups)在这里是非常重要的一个教学过程。主要的目的在于发展学生们的批判性思维能力,以及如何处理在在学习过程中碰到的一些困难。
5.保持融洽的师生关系
在课堂中,斯特灵大学的师生之间完全平等且老师的授课方式一般相对轻松、幽默、诙谐。老师们都非常和蔼或者很有职业素养,在课堂上老师和学生可以就知识自由交流,不受过多的拘束。
(二)注重课程设计的国际化和法学知识的实践应用
1.注重在国际视野下探讨法律的规定与实际应用
斯特灵大学为我们开设了四门法律课程,内容涉及国际投资、国际商事仲裁、外国民商事判决在中国的承认与执行以及国际竞争法(卡特尔)。可以看到,大学的国际视野和多学科方法将法律设定在全球社会经济背景下,把法律的作用、效力、重要性和经济全球化、国际资本流动联系起来,研究它的具体作用以及实施方法,这是培养涉外全方面人才的重要方式。
2.注重丰富的案例研讨的语境教学
通过对真实案例和判决的学习与讨论,斯特灵大学的法学教育能使学生会很快熟悉英美法律体系的运作,同时也培养你看待法律问题的视角,以及解决实际问题的能力。
三、交流考察心得体会
英国自然风光优美,清洁的空气,美丽的云彩,植被覆盖率很高,斯特灵大学满眼都是树木草坪鲜花,就像森林公园一样,建筑物掩映在树木里。
英国是拥有厚重历史和文化积淀的国家,城堡、教堂、博物馆是这个国家重要的文化标志,博物馆里收藏了世界各国在各个时期人类智慧产出的物品器件,他们尊重科学,用于科学研究的仪器设备,在自然博物馆里都有收藏。英国人举止优雅,文明礼让,平和友善,无论在学校还是大街上,无论是熟悉的还是陌生人,每当我需要帮助时,他们都会热情地伸出援助之手,这让我在异国他乡也能感觉到温暖。
斯特灵大学完善的基础设施和严谨科学的管理给我留下了深刻的印象,对电脑打印机网络等基础服务设施的管理,既严谨又人性化,包括校际交流所有同学在内的所有教职员工,每人都有工卡和账号密码,用自己的账号密码,可以随时使用图书馆里的电脑,但只能看到自己的页面,及方便了自己又保护了别人的资料信息;用自己的工卡,可以在楼里任何一台机器上打印复印材料。英国人无论在家里还是街上,都自觉对垃圾进行分类,这一点很值得我们学习,等等。
同时,让我感受特别深的是,自1978年改革开放以来,祖国社会经济飞速发展,在许多方面已经赶上或超过了西方发达国家。特别是在科学研究方面,祖国许多科学家的学术视野和学术思想已经国际化,并站在国际学术前沿。祖国的强大,让我们在海外的游子感受到了世界各国人的尊重,每每遇到西方人尤其是陌生人用中文对我说“你好!”“谢谢!”时,心中莫名总有一种自豪感。

I.TheHistoricalReviewofStirling'sHumanities
StirlingislocatedincentralScotlandandwasoncethecapitaloftheKingdomofScotland.AlthoughitwasreplacedbyEdinburghandreducedtotheRoyalBurgh,becauseofthemajesticlowlandleadingtothehighlandpoint,itisalwaysabattleforsoldiers.Historybookssay:"WhoevercontrolsStirlingcontrolsScotland."ReadingScottishhistory,youknowthatistrue.
EnteringStirling,youcanseetheancientstylestillexists-cobbledorbrickstreets,medievalchurches,houses,castles;theRiverForthflowsslowlyfromthesideofthecity.ThesceneryoftheScottishlowlandsisinfrontofyou,andyoucan'thelpthinkingabouttheancientfeelings.Imaginethat800yearsago,epiceventstookplacehere,andlegendaryheroesemerged,rewritingthehistoryofScotlandandeventheBritishIsles.

II.AcademicvisitstotheUniversityofStirling
VisitingtheUniversityofStirlingforinter-schoolexchangeistheprimarypurposeofthistrip.Foundedin1967,UniversityofStirlingisknownasoneofthemostbeautifulcampusesintheUKandEurope.Atthesametime,UniversityofStirlingisalsotheonly16outstandingfive-starsportsfacilitiesintheUKandtheUK'smostmodernandcreativeuniversity.Oneoftheuniversities.What'smore,theUniversityofStirlingistheonlyuniversityinBritaintobeestablishedintheRoyalPalace.Afteramonthofcommunication,combinedwiththecoursedesignarrangedbytheschool,Ihavefeltandgainedalot:
1.Classroomteachingwithdistinctivecharacteristics
(1)Multipleteachingmodes
TheteachingmodesattheUniversityofStirlingareflexible,usuallyincludeLecture,Seminar,Workshop.Wecanfindthatteachingobjectivesaremorefocusedoncultivatingstudents'criticalthinkingandcultivatingstudents'abilitytosolvepracticalproblemswiththeknowledgeofthesesubjects.
(2)Engagement
Theclassroomatuniversityhereattachesgreatimportancetotheengagementofstudents.Itisnotfeasibletofindacornerquietlytobeabeautifulmanhere.Wemustparticipateandcontribute.Weareoftenimpressedbytheingeniousdesignofclassroomactivitiesbyteachers.Ionceheardamotto:Furnitureisthemainbarrier,notthestudentnumber.
(3)EfficientFeedback
InChineseclassrooms,weareaccustomedtolisteningtotheteacher'slectures,andthereisalackofcommunicationanddiscussionamongstudents.Atthesametime,teachersarealsoaccustomedtocorrectinghomeworkassignmentsafterclass,buttheproblemisthatifstudentsdonotunderstandinclass,theteacheronlyneedstocorrecthomeworkassignmentsafterclass,whichmayslowdownthestudent'sprogress.
TheteachingmodeattheuniversityofStirlinghasinspiredusalot:Whenstudentsarepracticingproblems,theteacherwillwanderintheclassroomandconstantlycheckthestudent'swork.Ifthereissomethingthatthestudentdoesnotunderstand,theywillknowimmediately,andthengiveone-on-onesupportsothathecankeepupwiththelearningprogress.
(4)Empoweringstudentstotakeownershipofthelearningprocess
Theeducationhereattachesgreatimportancetofosteringstudentindependenceandismorewillingtoinvolvestudentsasawholeintheteachingprocess.DiscussioninSeminarsandDiscussioninStudyGroupsareaveryimportantteachingprocesshere.Themainpurposeistodevelopstudents'skillsandhowtodealwithsomedifficultiesencounteredinthelearningprocess.
(5)Harmoniousrelationshipbetweenteachersandstudents
Intheclassroom,theteachersandstudentsarecompletelyequalandtheteachingmethodsoftheteachersaregenerallyrelativelyrelaxed,humorousandwitty.Theteachersareverykindorprofessional,andtheycanfreelyexchangeknowledgewithstudentsintheclassroomwithoutbeingtoorestrained.
2.Payingattentiontotheinternationalizationofcurriculumdesignandthepracticalapplicationoflegalknowledge
(1)Focusonexploringtheprovisionsandpracticalapplicationoflawsfromaninternationalperspective
TheUniversityofStirlinghasprovideduswithfourlegalcoursescoveringinternationalinvestment,internationalcommercialarbitration,recognition,andenforcementofforeignnationalandcommercialjudgmentsinChina,andinternationalcompetitionlaw(cartel).Itcanbeseenthattheuniversity'sinternationalperspectiveandmultidisciplinaryapproachsetthelawinaglobalsocio-economiccontext,linkingtherole,effectiveness,importance,economicglobalization,andinternationalcapitalflowsofthelaw,studyingitsspecificroleandimplementationMethod,thisisanimportantwaytocultivateallaspectsofforeign-relatedtalents.

Throughthestudyanddiscussionofrealcasesandjudgments,theUniversityofStirling'slaweducationwillenablestudentstoquicklybecomefamiliarwiththeoperationoftheBritishandAmericanlegalsystem,whilealsodevelopingyourperspectiveonlegalissuesandtheabilitytosolvepracticalproblems.
III.ExchangeExperience
Britainhasbeautifulnaturalscenery,cleanair,beautifulclouds,andhighvegetationcoverage.TheUniversityofStirlingisfulloftreesandlawnflowers,justlikeaforestpark,andbuildingsarehiddenintrees.
Britainisacountrywitharichhistoryandculturalaccumulation.Castles,churches,andmuseumsareimportantculturalsymbolsofthiscountry.Themuseumhousesitemsanddevicesproducedbyhumanwisdomfromvariouscountriesintheworld.Theyrespectscienceandareusedforscientificresearch.InstrumentsandequipmentarestoredintheNaturalHistoryMuseum.TheBritishareelegant,courteous,andfriendly.Whetheratschooloronthestreet,whethertheyarefamiliarorstrangers,wheneverIneedhelp,theywillenthusiasticallygiveahelpinghand.Thismakesmefeelwarm.
IwasimpressedbythecomprehensiveinfrastructureandrigorousscientificmanagementoftheUniversityofStirling.Themanagementofbasicservicefacilitiessuchascomputerprintersandnetworksarerigorousanduser-friendly.AllfacultyandstaffincludingexchangestudentshaveaworkIDandaccount.Withtheiraccount,theycanusethecomputerinthelibraryatanytime,buttheycanonlyseetheirpages,anditisconvenientandprotectstheinformationofothers;Workpermit,youcanprintcopymaterialsonanymachineinthebuilding.TheBritishconsciouslyclassifytrashathomeoronthestreet,whichisworthlearning,andsoon.
Atthesametime,whatmakesmefeelparticularlydeepisthatsincethereformandopeningupin1978,thesocio-economicdevelopmentofthemotherlandhasdevelopedrapidly,andinmanyways,ithascaughtupwithorsurpassedthewesterndevelopedcountries.Especiallyinscientificresearch,theacademicvisionandacademicthinkingofmanyscientistsinthemotherlandhavebeeninternationalized,andtheyarestandingattheforefrontofinternationalacademics.Thestrengthofthemotherlandhasmadeouroverseastravelersfeeltherespectofpeoplefromallovertheworld.WheneverImeetWesterners,especiallystrangers,say"hello!""thankyou!".
