烽火戏诸侯：周幽王为博褒姒一笑，点燃了烽火台，戏弄了诸侯。褒姒看了果然哈哈大笑。幽王很高兴，因而又多次点燃烽火。导致诸侯们都不相信烽火，导致犬戎攻破镐京，幽王被杀。
一个“立木取信”，一诺千金；一个“烽火戏诸侯”，帝王无信。可见信用是一个国家的力量，也是人与人交往的重要条件。
